Pennsylvania: Bigfoot, Slenderman, spirits, witches, and maybe a wendigo and skinwalkers. Motly a lot of Native American beliefs.

oh i just remembered one specific to my friend's house
so when my friend was younger, like a lot younger, there was this cat that hung around her house. every time it would come around, all her dogs would start whimpering and freaking out. the cat didn't do much, it'd just stare calmly and come/go as it pleases, but it always left dead things. her dad got drunk one day and was so pissed at the cat that he shot it. it started screaming like a human, just screeching as loud as it could in a way that you would never, ever expect to hear from a cat. i think the cat died, but i don't remember for sure. ever since then, their house has fallen apart, all their cars have broken down, including new ones they buy, and every person in the house has gotten various mental health issues. every time they leave the house for an extended period of time, their lives get absolutely wonderful. it takes only a few days of being back in the house and then depression and fits of violence start coming back, problems with the car, money, etc.

really none I think
I mean, people joke about Bigfoot, but as far as I know no one's ever claimed to have seen him around here
Mothman is probably juuuust close enough to mention but like no one here seems to have heard of Mothman so…maybe not
