Hello. Since cats are canivores I see them having no knowledge of fruit. The cats that come to mind are:
Berrynose Honeyfern(I know not a fruit but still) Pearnose Appledusk
I know the erins humanize the cats to some extent. But enough to know what fruits are? Berrynose and Honeyfern are understandable since medicene cats work with those.
But Pearnose and Appledusk? I don't ever recall seeing a pear and an apple in the books. They both grow in trees so they name them after the trees? Since they could tell the different species of trees.
I don't want to see a Bananastar.

Well, they do encounter berries. They distinguish them, too-- Yew comes to mind, as does nightshade (or was it hemlock?)

Bananas are a tropical fruit. Warrior Cats live in a temperate or continental climate. Bananas could not survive there.

Bananatail. I want a cat like this now xD Maybe a fluffy yellow cat with a poofy tail. A kittypet who gives themselves a warriors name out of sheer awe.
As for the other names, I guess they just needed new names to avoid repetition.

Apples and cherries are fairly common things, at least where I live, which is a similar climate to the uk. Pears abd plums, not so much.
Apple, berry, and cherry are the understandable, and I think at least one of Plumwillow's parents was a kittypet. The one I'm most confused about is pear.

I mean, I have a character named 'Turnipfur'. They could've learned about different fruits from kittypets, maybe? At least, that's how my character got his name.
