It sucks always being on mobile. And before you tell me, yes I know there's a 'desktop' option for mobile users, but I'm also almost always using limited data and it uses that up sooooo much faster.
Anyone else getting slightly annoyed by the growth of new fonts and such?

YES. I'm on mobile too and even on desktop is so ugly and unnecessary.

@paint
I know. Like it's okay to not have 'original' text fonts and layouts.

I'm on a laptop and they still annoy me. See I can tolerate them more while on a laptop, but I can see how it can be annoying and excessive even then.

Many people here have hard-to-read formats in their post.

the smear is even worse because it just doesnt do squat on mobile. jeez, if youre going to make a fancy layout, at least make it easy to read on desktop AND mobile.

@paint I know. Like it's okay to not have 'original' text fonts and layouts. I know this is completely unrelated to the subject, but you can get a “fancy” font even on the mobile version. All you have to do is type [ font size = " (size here) " face = " (face here) "], but without the spaces. To get italics, you type [ i ], but without the spaces. To end the italicization, you type [ / i ], but without the spaces. To underline, type [ u ]. To stop the underlining, type [ / u ]. To embolden, type [ b ], but without the spaces. To stop the emboldening, type [ / b ]. The only fonts I know are Cormorant Garamond, Fondamento, and Coming Soon, but I could provide an entire list if I was on the computer. I’m sure you all knew this, but I’m just telling this to anyone who doesn’t know.

i think it'll all die out pretty soon, dont worry. its just something new and people are getting excited about it, because it opens up opportunities like more coding shops and cool front pages of rps and such. to be honest, i was thinking about typing in my classic light blue comic sans that i use for literally everything, especially emails for school but i decided against it

I like to type in a serif because it makes reading my post back easier for me, but I see what you mean. Personally, I don't mind too much, as long as the text isn't sized up to an extreme.
