zetharoxplot idea...how do you feel about this: Muse A and Muse B were childhood best friends, from the time they could talk until they graduated high school, they were the best of friends. Then, Muse B moved away from their small town and went to college, Muse A stayed behind and took up their parents business, never taking more than a few classes at the local Community College. Several years pass and Muse B returns for a family reunion and Muse A and Muse B run into each other one day at one their old haunts, a coffee shop that was popular when they were kids...Muse A use to have a crush on Muse B and little did they realize, it never went away. So, Muse A invites Muse B to dinner and idk we can figure out what else from there. Sound good?

Muse B - Ashley Stein
Today had been a mess. From start to finish, it had been a disaster...except not to finish, because it was one noon. She had barely been back in town for twelve hours. Her flight landed early afternoon the day before and she had been up at the ass crack of dawn. Not her fault, she was staying in her childhood home for the time being and her mother thought it would be a great idea to awaken her adult daughter. She had planned on sleeping until noon. But no, of course not. Her mother wanted to go on a jog, which would've been great - eight years ago when Ashley was on her high school track team and in love with running. But now, a hardworking young adult woman who barely got enough rest as it was, she had little to no time to go for a jog. She was out of shape and she knew she'd be feeling it later. As soon as they got home from their run, Ashley attempted to make a break for her room, but her father just happened to be getting up and wanted to make breakfast. So, for a good solid two hours she sat at the kitchen table, watching as her father tried to figure out where they had last seen the pancake mix. It was only when the doorbell rang at nine that she managed to make it upstairs. Wasting no time, she showered, and went to get dressed - only to find she had no clue where any of her stuff was. Of course, it was in the previously empty dresser drawers that her mother just had to fill up.
So now, tired, in slight muscle failure, and frustrated, here was Ashley. She had escaped from the house and had no idea what to do, so she did what any sane adult would - go buy a cup of coffee. The name had changed, as had the layout, and the owner of the coffee shop was not sweet old Miss Yancy, but some grumpy adult maybe ten years older than she who thought he was superior, even though he was the one serving her, not the other way around. After finally managing to place her order and receive her jet black coffee, she was sitting by a window, looking across the coffee shop and trying to fix her day by remembering old memories. How many prospective boyfriends brought her to this exact coffee shop and tried to order her a latte or something silly when all she really wanted was a large cup of black coffee, just like her daddy. How many times she stayed here until closing, chatting with Miss Yancy about the big bad world. She remembered that working here, when Miss Yancy owned it, was one of the best experiences of her life, and the one thing that got her out of this smelly town. But the more she sat and thought, the sadder she made herself. She had so many friends here, so many good memories - and bad. Most importantly, she remembered Danny, her best friend since infancy who just under six months ago, she stopped receiving calls from.
To anyone who saw her, they would just see a young woman of twenty six, maybe a bit younger, sitting lost in thought, sipping a large cup of black coffee. Since she was sitting, you couldn't tell how tall she was, but she was pretty. She had blonde hair pulled into a messy bun with tendrils falling out and framing her face, her chocolate brown eyes slightly watery with unshed tears - she didn't look sad, she just looked teary eyed....
[basically you can have danny notice her and be all like "Ashley Stein, is that you?" or whatever you'd like c:]

Danny was counting down until his lunch break at the auto shop, he could not wait to grab a cup of coffee and unwind for about an hour and the go straight back to work. Although he stares longingly at his 1977 Chevy Impala that he has been 'almost done' with for the past 6 years, he cherishes the time he has to himself, weather it be working out or just relaxing with a cup of coffee. Danny's father yelled lunch break so loudly across the auto shop so loudly Danny spilled transmission fluid on his new shirt that says manager on one side and Daniel Graf on the other. "Dammit" he muttered as he clocked his lunch hours. His mother used to be one of the shop managers before cancer took her about six months ago, ever since then Danny has been focusing on work and nothing else, his friends are concerned about him because he no longer wishes to hang out and go to the gym with them. Since his only car is still a work in progress, he begins to walk to the coffee shop, only when he is within 15 feet of the shop, it begins to downpour with rain. Danny runs into the shop and sits in the first booth without looking. He startles a familiar looking teary-eyed girl that takes his breath away, she analyzes him for a moment and it seemed as if they came to the realization at the same time. Danny was almost positive that that was Ashley Stein. "Ash?" he asks.
