"What's wrong with using our clothes?" Melody asked, already preparing to be able to pull all of their clothes out of the bag. Sure there might be some complaining later about how the clothes got dirty, but they were not complaining about it now. "It would work, right?"
(sorry it's a bit short ^^')

- Athena
Honestly, Athena would probably be the first to break and say her name. She was a curious person, and even though it was irrelevant, was frustrated that Mason wouldn't tell her a piece of information she wanted to know. Typically her curiosity would make her give in, but she was also very stubborn, and this was someone she saw as a competitor, for the leader position at least. So, she was kind of at war with herself. "That's a decent idea, since clothes would stick out well, but we'd run out of them pretty quickly." She paused to think for a moment, before adding, "Maybe we should rip up a piece of clothing, like a cotton shirt or something, and use that as a trail? If we do that, we won't run out as quickly. Also, we'd only lose a little bit of clothing, while if we left full pieces behind, the wind and animals would probably take most of it, so we'd be without any clothes."

Kane beamed at the praise, pleased that he had managed to be helpful. That's what he wanted, after all. To be helpful. "A trail is a good idea, but I'm not sure what we would leave behind. Breadcrumbs would get eaten or blown away, plus it's a waste of food, and I don't even know if we have breadcrumbs, and sticks blend in way too easily. We'd have to leave something that sticks out, so it's easy for us to see, even in the dark, since I'm sure it'll be a lot darker by the time we start heading back." He wasn't sure how to solve the problem he had brought up, and an irritated frown crossed his face as he thought. He should know what to do! So much for being helpful.

((That it is! XD I'll see where we left off and reply.))
Mason looked between Melody and Athena before he nodded his head in agreement. "Alright -- one piece of clothing. Now the question becomes, who wants to volunteer a clothing item?" He asked, arching an eyebrow in question. Sure, he would probably give up a piece of clothing to be torn apart, but he would rather see if one of them would be willing to give up their clothing first. Mason kind of liked his series of identical flannels and identical t-shirts since he didn't much like the idea of clothing changes.
Kat gave a little laugh at the idea of breadcrumbs. Of course, they didn't even have breadcrumbs to leave behind, so that idea was completely off the table. "Hmm..." she frowned, looking down at her worn sneakers while she thought about about what they could possibly use. "You're right about the breadcrumbs and the branches... we could break branches along our way? Or find some way to mark the trees as we go along?" She suggested, her gaze rising from her sneakers to look back at Kane. She shoved a lock of hair behind her ear and then pushed her glasses back up her nose.

{ guess who is too lazy to do coding anymore That would be me wow } "Um...well, I brought some extra clothing, so I suppose I could give up a shirt or something." Athena didn't like the idea of having a piece of her clothing torn apart, but if there was really no other option...well, she would just have to put up with it. "Here, take the shirt I have on now. I don't care about this one." She had put it on for that purpose, as she assumed that it would be filthy by the end of the day. At least now it was being put to good use. She pulled the shirt over her head, tossing it to Mason before grabbing another one from her bag. "Can we leave now? It's beginning to get dark, and I would like to get back before it's pitch black and we can't see," she said as she put on the thicker shirt she had grabbed, figuring it would get colder as the night grew nearer. "Unless either one of you two have something else to waste our time with." She placed her hands on her hips, glaring at the two men impatiently.
Even if they did have breadcrumbs, why waste food? There were six of them, and very little food, so there was no point in dropping breadcrumbs for animals to pick up. They'd probably all be gone by the time they got back anyways. "Marking the trees is a good idea, but I'm not sure what with." He paused for a moment, thinking. "You know those little blue berries that grow all over bushes everywhere, right? They aren't edible, and there's plenty of them, so perhaps we could use the stuff inside of them? The juice or whatever is pretty red, so maybe we could draw arrows pointing back to this direction on trees or something." He wasn't sure how well that would work, but hey, it was an idea at least.

Melody patted her backpack, checking to see if it was full of clothes like her and Richard had planned on doing "I have some shirts of we need more" She decided, if anything they can use one of her shirts, as it was her decision to possible give one up. She turned over to Athena, frowning a bit when she saw the glare "Sorry" She muttered, hoping she hadn't upset Athena too much. "We should go" She cleared her throat just before speaking, returning her chipper voice back to normal "I am sure that the others would like a place to rest anyways"
(sorry for taking so long for a shorter post ^^' )

((Of course, di-stri! ^.^ I know I'd love new members, and I think everyone else can disagree.))
"Nope. I've no more to say. Let's get going." Mason replied and started into the woods without waiting to see if the other two followed after him. He glanced up towards the sun and was disappointed to see it was lower than before. Well, that much was obviously. He was more disappointed to see that they only had one looked like a few hours before nightfall.
Kat's eyes lit up at the idea. "Brilliant! Alright, so, let's see if we can..." before she could even finish her sentence, she caught sight of a bush with the needed berries. "There. Perfect. Let's just try not to stain our clothes." She said with a laugh as she headed over to the berries and started picking a few.
