((Do you guys have any ideas on what they could do to gain credits? I'm thinking a ten credit allowance either weekly, or multiply that ten by the number of people so it's sixty credits weekly. But then I think some other ideas would be nice. I'm trying to work on the catalog right now, too. XD))
"Great! There's the new person!" Mason sighed and started towards her. He waited for Athena to finish speaking before he added: "Alright, we're going to get introductions out of the place real quick so we can get on with provisions. That's Kat, Jamie, Kane, and No Name Girl." He said, pointing to everyone in turn while he tried to make this as quickly as possible. No Name Girl was, of course, Athena. They could make friendships and get to know each other better later. After night had started to fall. "And you are...?"

Connie squinted, glancing between all those present. She figured it'd be smart to commit all the names and faces to memory. Hopefully she wouldn't forget any of them. As for Athena's questions, she frowned momentarily, though it quickly changed into a friendly smile as she spoke. "Ahhh... well, guns are more my game," she laughed lightly as she pushed her sleeves up, "but I s'pose I can learn to bash in a skull with a stick." She shrugged. She didn't actually know why they would think she'd be able to protect anyone, at least without any weaponry, but whatever. She didn't want to make enemies her first few minutes in her. "Name's Constance Falk- Connie." She grinned down at Athena. "No Name Girl, huh? Pretty, how exotic."

"It really sounded like that was your plan, you know with ignoring me and all" If he couldn't stand anything it was the feeling of being ignored. It was so simple to go 'ok' and then say something that includes what was just said. "J-I really hate arguing though so let's just stop, ok?" She gave a smile and then slipped the straps on better, fitting her hands between the straps of the bag and her side. "My name's Jamie, nice to meet you Connie" She stopped and turned back towards Athena "And sorry, I don't think I caught your name either, guess I got a bit carried away" Her main focus right now was to defuse the situation that Jamie had gotten himself into
(Wow, that is actually the quickest Melody has ever been triggered, congrats, you win...something. though being serious, this actually is, usually Richard is triggered first.)

- Athena
"Thank you. I always thought my name was quite lovely...my parents are so creative." Yes, Athena actually had a sense of humor, and for the first time since showing up, genuinely laughed at the joke. "This is No Name Boy, by the way. Amazing concidence, huh? We're probably soulmates." And after that comment, Athena as done messing around, and turned serious again. She did that quite often - she'd be joking around for a while, then all of a sudden go somber. It was weird. "So now that everyone is here, who is going with who?" She glanced over at Mason, clearly waiting for him to say what he thought. If she disagreed, she'd state it after she was done, but she was forcing herself to allow him to say his opinion first. "Fine! I'm sorry for ignoring you." His change of behavior confused her, but she didn't question it.

(Credits could probably come from a wide variety of places, like a general being able to survive. It could be like 'you made fire, good job here's like 1 credit' I would think that maybe doing things that would hinder their survive-ability (Ie: eating bad food, having to go without food for a day because you couldn't hunt, injuring yourself, ext) would take away points. Like 'you shouldn't have eaten that berry that made you throw up, minus 3 credits' or something.

Mason waited a moment and then realized that Athena was, indeed, waiting for him to make the final decision. "Well, seeing as how apparently only Connie here and myself could do any kind of damage if something bad were to happen, I think Connie should go with Kane and Kat to look for food. Jamie, you, and I can look for water and then maybe set up camp for the night by said water." He suggested and then waited for anyone -- but mostly Athena -- to argue with his decision. He wouldn't be surprised if she did.

(I'm not sure, it feels like they should earn the credits rather then have them given, as much as I would like to have them be able to survive longer, I feel that they should be able to use the environment before getting fancy tools)

"Ok, sorry for being a bother" Melody smiled, she would have to leave a note for Jamie to not do what he did again, it would only make things harder. "I don't mind that" Truthfully she would have just followed whatever the two leaders would have said, it's not like she knew how to be a person to give out orders logically. "How are we going to know where each other are?" She asked, taking a moment after to think about the sentence, something sounded off but she wasn't sure what.

Mason took a moment from waiting for Athena to answer to look back at Jamie. "We'll meet back up here when the sun is just starting to set. We won't know where everyone is while we're gathering, but at least we'll have a meetup point." Of course, what if there was an emergency? That seemed to be something that, at the moment, Mason couldn't help.

- Athena
"I thought we were going in pairs? But I suppose groups of three would be smarter, since only two of the six of us know any self defense." Surprisingly enough, this was the only thing Athena questioned about Mason's plan, and actually nodded in agreement with him. "That sounds good to me." Huh. She wasn't trying to argue...weird, but it was probably a good thing. Fights would be difficult to deal with right now. "There really is no way to know, since we don't have cell phones or anything. I guess we'll have to plan to meet up here at sunset, like Mason said, and hope for the best." She wish there wasn't a way to communicate between the six of them, but right now, there wasn't. "Anyone else have anything to say before we head out?"

Connie shook her head and leaned down a bit. "I sure hope you're wrong there," she said suggestively, in response to Athena's 'souldmates' remark. It was simply her way of having fun of course, as she was much more the emotional person than mere flings. After that, she remained quiet, hands on her hips, listening to everyone talk. She was even more new to these people than they were, and was quickly trying to figure out a basic image of all of them. As in, their character. Seeing as things seemed to be decided, she clapped her hands and turned towards those who Mason had earlier gestured to. "Hey, hey there. Guess I'm your bodyguard today!"

Seeing as how she didn't have any objection to Mason and Athena's orders, Kat, still feeling a little nervous around all of these strangers, managed a small smile and wave at Connie. "I guess you are." She said, her fingers pulling at the straps of her backpack in all of her shy awkwardness. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before her hand, once again, went to pull at her backpack strap. "Are you guys ready?" She asked, trying to sound cheerful but instead, it still came out as shy as she looked between Connie and Kane.

"Have fun and good luck" Melody half hummed, trying to keep her voice sounding at least a little like someone who was playing a survival game. She turned to face the two she was going with-taking a small note that she had yet to hear the girl's name. "Since you two seem to be in charge, lead the way" She would figure out a direction to go once they started to move, how did Jamie search around the mountains again? She would have to figure it out quickly as Jamie had promised he was good at finding stuff.

- Athena
"Oh?" Athena lifted an eyebrow, gazing at the other carefully. She could tell she was joking, of course, which was the only reason she did not grow angry. Perhaps when she was younger, back in high school, she wouldn't have minded the remark being serious, but once she had grown up, found that she no longer wanted to participate in meaningless hookups. It made her life a whole lot harder than necessary, especially just for the sake of something she only saw as a game. "We'll have to see then," she replied, a hint of coyness in her tone, though she was clearly not serious either. "Hm?" Having zoned out after that, Athena flinched out of surprise when she heard Melody's words, but nodded slowly in agreement. "Alright. No Name Boy?" She looked over at him. "Any particular place you want to look first?"
─────✧─────
- Kane
The entire time the group was discussing the plan, Kane remained quiet, not wanting to spark another fight. He was relieved they were over, and didn't want to make a dumb comment that would start something else. So, he only spoke once Kat and Connie did, forcing an awkward smile. "Yeah..." he was mildly embarrassed by the fact a girl was having to be sent along to protect him, but more relieved than anything. He didn't want to have to go out there alone, or with someone who didn't know how to fight. "I'm ready if you guys are." He took a few steps back from the group of six, preparing to lead the way. He wasn't necessarily a leader, but figured he'd probably be best at finding what they needed, so decided to take on the responsibility. Which would most likely end with them being killed, because once again, he was NOT a good leader.

Mason rolled his eyes at both of them with their little discussion about soulmates. Once he had believed in such silly things, but now, all he wanted was meaningless one night stands or nothing at all. He had come to Eden to clear his mind and be able to think about something else, such as his own survival. "So are we really going to go through this whole show without knowing each other's name?" He asked Athena when she referred to him as No Name Boy, but he didn't dwell on it long. "Seeing as how literally everything is forest around here, I don't really think it matters where we start." He said, looking around. "But we'll probably want to put camp near water since we don't have anything to hold water yet." Stupid show... sending them in here with nothing but clothes.
Kat gripped her backpack straps, making her look every bit a child despite her age. "Of course. Lead the way." She smiled at Kane and then looked at Connie. Maybe the other girl would want to lead since she was supposed to protect them, but either way, Kat was glad she wasn't in the lead. Despite farm life, her knowledge of plants had always been a little weak. She dealt with animals. Her parents dealt with plants. She knew some, but not much. Oh, it would've been helpful right now to have that book her mother had on finding wild plants to eat, but hopefully Kane would be able to do so. Kat believed in him.

Melody set her gaze on the forest that was mentioned, surely there had to be a river somewhere, right? She wished she had paid better attention in the past when he was searching stuff like this up before their departure to the show. Didn't he have a notebook filled with facts? Or was that Corin who put that together while Jamie kept searching with no notes? Either way, Melody at this point, wished she had paid better attention to what either of them were doing, it would make life easier now. What about the times before that? When Jamie could go out and just explore the mountains while finding as many things as he could. How did he do that?

- Athena
Did Athena really believe in soulmates? No. She had given up on the idea of romance a long time ago. She was far too stubborn and independent for anyone to stick around with her for long, but there was no harm in joking around with someone. Just as long as Connie didn't start thinking she was serious. "I'll tell you my name as soon as you tell me yours. But until then, yes. You'll have to keep calling me No Name Girl, and put up with me calling you No Name Boy, until you decide to let me know what your actual name is." She grinned, but only for a split second before it was wiped away. "Okay then, I guess we should just pick a random direction, and walk around till we find water. I suggest we make a trail as we go, just to be sure we don't get lost."
─────✧─────
- Kane
"O-oh, okay?" It came out as more of a question than anything, as Kane had honestly been expecting one of the two girls to insist upon being the leader instead. Apparently he was on his own...wonderful. He was SO excited to be the leader! Which was obvious from the look on his face...or not. He looked absolutely terrified. "Let's go...uh....this way?" He looked around for a moment, lighting up when he noticed a downwards slope. "Water runs downwards, so if it was around here, it would probably be running down that slope, and plants would be around there, so we could check that first? If everyone is okay with that?"

((Sorry for not being on... we put one of my dogs down Friday and it was... rough...))
((Of course, inky! =3 Welcome!))
Mason decided to skip past the name part. He could continue to call her No Name Girl. That would work out for him for a while, unless one of the people he had told his name to spoke up. Maybe they had forgotten his name -- or so he hoped. Mason was too stubborn to bend first. "Good idea. But what kind of trail? We don't exactly have anything that will stick out, right? Unless you want to walk along hanging up pieces of clothing." That would stick out far better than some kind of natural marking, at least.
"Ooh, yes! Genius!" Kat exclaimed, nodding her head in agreement with his statement. Although she knew water ran downhill, she really never would have put two and two together. It was a little embarrassing, actually, but at least she had other people who would think those things before she did. She paused, looking around for a moment and then frowned. "Should we do something so that we can find our way back? Like, break branches or leave a trail of breadcrumbs?" She suggested.
