Sonya raised a hand in a defensive gesture, shaking her head, "Hey, it's not my fault! There was soooo much traffic and my dog got loose. It was just a whole debacle." She tossed her things onto her bed, then flopped down beside Ruska, "So, any of the new kiddies look interesting? OOooooh we're upperclassmen now, so we totally get to be all wise and teacherly! Or we can haze them and prank them an' stuff!" She was so looking forwards to this year, the summer had been so dull. Mostly spent working in her family's restaurant, she was just thrilled to be away from them and back with her friends.

"Big and clean." She fished the sauces she'd snagged out and made sure it was far away from the bean sauce (because those two things should never be mixed), "Now that all my siblings are moved out, it's empty most of the time. My parents would be happy just to see a new face." She dipped her meat into the barbecue generously, "Though they're at work most of the time. We'd have all those rooms to ourselves." She couldn't keep the tease out of her voice at that (why pass up such an excellent opportunity?), a shameless flirt by nature. It was easier to make her partner blush then to think about her starving. As much as she wanted Wysteria to find her dad, she nearly wished that she wouldn't get a lead, and would spend winter warm and well fed. But that was stupid. If she hadn't gotten a lead by then, she'd be miserable. Ugh, feelings were so confusing.
"Beauty does not negate faults." They said, watching the birds whip by, eyes following them, "Nothing useless is truly beautiful anyway. I'd chop it off, if I had the nerve." In truth, Larimar had attempted to cut their tail off, and had a series of long jagged scars along the small of their back. But they barely knew this girl, and they hadn't even told their adoptive family about that, it had been agony to explain it to the doctor. They had cute names, the birds. It was clear how close this girl felt to them and the pride in her voice was warm and clear. "Support is important. You have a nice singing voice, it's very sweet." They remembered it from the fights back then, an unusual semblance, but surely a handy one.
"Don't be too mean to them." Ruska flopped back on the bed, crossing her hands on her stomach, "We were new once too!" She'd never been pranked herself, but she remembered one boy last year being nearly falling out a window and shuddered. The maternal streak in her flared up whenever she thought about cruel jokes, "Though, I am looking forward to exerting my newfound god-status over them all. Think we can skip the line now?" Food was an important part of Ruska's happiness and the idea of getting more of it quicker made the future look bright and warm.

Wysteria watched Niv as she spoke, polishing off the chicken and moving to the potatoes. She tried to imagine what Niv's house would look like and when Niv's tone turned suggestive, the Faunus felt her face grow hot as she blushed. "How many rooms does your house have?" Wysteria asked to add to the conversation. She paused with the potatoes to eat a piece of bread, taking one of the small butters and smearing it on the bread as if she was icing a cake. The realization that the bread could have been used to make a sandwich and the girl suddenly wanted to get up and go get more.
Luxia's cheerful expression turned into one of concern as Larimar spoke. "No, don't do that. Do you not see how useful it can be? Your tail is full of potential," she told them worriedly. The small girl began to feel concerned over the Faunus and she wanted to cheer them up. She could use her semblance but that would be cheating. She needed to find out how to make them happy and see the potential their tail had like she did. When her voice was complemented, a blush reddened her cheeks and she smiled. "Thank you. I was impressed with how you did too. I'm glad I have such an amazing partner." She beamed at him and the silver birds landed on her the top of her head as if returning to their nest.

Isis turned around and her eyes widened at the sight of Shiro's blades. She hadn't noticed them before, and she was wondering how she hadn't. Probably not paying attention, and she cursed inwardly. She was better than that! "Hey, what are you doing with your weapons in here? Those are supposed to be in our lockers." She crossed her arms. "I thought it was against the rules to walk around school with your weapons." She wasn't allowed to carry Anubis around with her, why was Shiro? Her baby was sitting locked up in a metal box and here Shiro was sharpening her blades. She was pretty sure it was a rule so there weren't fights in the halls. A fight between two huntsmen or huntresses, even inexperienced ones, would easily be enough to destroy a large part of the school if they weren't stopped.

Shiro blinked at Isis and looked at her confused. "No one stopped me so I didn't know. Luxia has her birds so I thought I could have Hikari and Akari with me. The only time I am without them, too, is when I am sleeping or something like that but even then they are right within arms reach. It would be strange to put my family's heirlooms into a box. I was told to always keep them at my side so that if I must I can always defend someone in need." Shiro looked at the blades on her lap and she felt a pit in her stomach at the fact she might have to put them into a box. She continued to care for them as she thought and a sigh escaped her lips as she put them back in their sheathes before standing. "Where are these lockers? I should put them away if that are the rules."

Isis crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at Shiro. They told us yesterday where to keep our weapons. We were supposed to store them there until the initiation. They explained the rule and everything." She sighed softly, shaking her head. "Sounds noble and all, but it's not exactly worth it if you get kicked out of here in less than a week." She turned and started walking towards the door, swaying her hips just enough to make it enticing. She doubted Shiro would even notice, but she figured she might as well try. Some teasing might do the girl some good. "Come on. I'll show you were it is."

"They did? I was probably too excited to register that, oops," Shiro replied sheepishly. She rested her hands on the hilt of the blades and rubbed them with her thumbs as she listened to Isis. Sure, the things her family lived by or mottos and saying they had were a bit strange but it was the importance of tradition and pride that her family lived on. As Isis began to head to the door, Shiro went to gather her scroll and so she missed the way the other Faunus had walked off, turning around when the girl was at the door. "Okay, lead the way," Shiro told her with a smile as she skipped over to her and checked to see if she got anything drop her sister.

(Sorry I haven't been on guys. I'll try to respond faster in the future. :3)*Aurora* Aurora nodded his head hastily, every ounce of him in complete agreement with Maple. He was just about ready to burst with excitement, and this was only the naming ceremony, real classes hadn't even started yet! He ground into the floor with his heels, trying to burn off at least some of that excess energy so he didn't start bouncing all over the place. That wasn't quite the first impression he wanted to give off to everyone else, cheery as he may be. A quick glance to his right let him see Eva, one of the two girls he and his partner had taken down a few Grimm with in the forest, looking every bit as pumped as he was. That sort of enthusiasm was something he appreciated. A smile and wave were quickly offered her way, wanting to become best friends with all three members of his team as soon as possible. Already his thoughts were drifting towards training, sparring, missions, basically anything positive that Beacon had to offer and he was wondering what kind of stories he'd have to tell his family in just a few days time. "It really is gonna be fun, Maple, you're right. Heck, I'm even just happy we get to sleep in beds tonight instead of on the floor!"
--Maple-- Maple nodded, encouraged somewhat by Aurora's enthusiasm. He realized he probably ought to be doing something right now other than standing awkwardly with his team, probably something involving leaving, since that was what everyone else was doing. "So... think we ought to go find our dorm or something?" Maple said, not sure of what he was supposed to do now. "Or- wait, are there classes today? Is there some kind of schedule or something? Because to be completely honest here I have no clue what I'm doing." He had no problems with admitting that he wasn't sure what to do. He would rather have some help than do something stupid and embarrassing.Rika had her arms crossed as she stood near her team. They all seemed a little too excited. Yeah, they were in Beacon, but that didn't mean they had to explode from the excitement. She was happy, if this could be considered happy. She wasn't even smiling. She was just glad she wouldn't have to go home in failure. She couldn't think of a worse way to arrive home. Failed getting into another kingdom's academy, forced to crawl home in defeat, beg her father to allow her to return home. Not something she would be able to do. She'd rather become a nomad. She glanced at Aurora. The one Faunus on their team. She'd gotten so close to being on a team without Faunus. Now she was stuck with one. At least she was prepared to be the one person on the team that was hated by the others. She didn't care. She was just here to graduate. Once she was a full huntress, she would never need anything from her father ever again. That was what she was aiming for. She didn't need a team, nor friends. So she didn't care if they liked her or not. --Eva-- Eva noticed Aurora's wave and smiled back, noticing that he was probably equally as excited as her. Then she turned to her left to see Rika staring him down as well. She looked back and forth between them, trying to gauge what she was thinking for a second before she gave up and just straight up asked, "What're you thinking? Because you seem pretty glum. Are we too happy for you? Yeah, that's probably it." Eva might've kept going, just talking without waiting for an answer, except that Maple had started speaking and she probably had to listen to him or something. That was how following worked right? She wasn't sure yet how good of a leader the guy would be. She'd seen him fight and he was decent, but he also hadn't really said much. And what he was saying now wasn't really reassuring. "Let's just go find our room," she suggested, trying not to judge him too much yet. "I'm sure we can work it out there, fearless leader." Unfortunately she was unable to stop herself from adding that sarcastic quip and watched as Maple looked at her silently and opted to ignore it. Then the team leader started to walk down the hallway where the other first-years were going, and she followed without saying anything more.QUARENDER He glanced behind him at Bradley, the big guy was brooding against a wall towards the back. To the new comers, he must've appeared an intimating figure, but the team captain knew him better by this stage. He limped over, the tap of his cane on the floor barely audible over the hubbub of voices, "Did you spend all summer staring into the middle distance or are you making up for lost time now?" He asked, following the other man's gaze into the crowd. His eyes skipped over heads and backs, mostly excited ones, but a few subdued expressions could be seen. He could remeber this day himself, two years ago, but he did not remember squealing. --Bradley-- "Not all summer, just some of it." Brad said, flatly and in his typical blunt fashion. He didn't elaborate, knowing that his leader probably didn't actually care what he'd done over the summer so long as he hadn't lost his edge. And he hadn't. The big guy turned his gaze to his leader. Q seemed immaculate as ever. His partner hadn't changed that much. "You seem as put together as ever. I trust you had a decent summer?" He said, shifting his attention from the first-years. He wasn't necessarily relaxed when talking to Quarender (who would be?) but it was at least something he was familiar with and unconcerned by.(Aaaand a new starter for Royal.)--Royal-- The door opened again as Royal entered the room, making a quiet entrance into her team's dorm. She wasn't really late, she'd just been sidetracked. Lots of people had thought it might be funny to see if they could bully the "quiet, shy, emo girl with the purple hair" today. She'd managed to avoid punching anybody in the face so far but it had been hard to do everything she needed to do and it was only now that she'd made it to the room to drop off her stuff, her well-earned lunch (had to keep people from cutting in the line, as always) in hand in the form of a red apple. "Hey, girls," she said, unceremoniously dumping her backpack on the bed. Inevitably some of the contents spilled out, revealing many, many packs of chewing gum and colored pencils among other things. She took a bite of the apple, preferring not to intrude on whatever conversation was happening right now and just listen.(But now I've got to go to bed so... I guess I'll rp with you all tomorrow. :) )

@ Ghostling
Isis glanced back for only a moment, before pushing the door open and stepping out into the hall. She looked around as it appeared the other first years were arriving at their dorms around them. Without a word, she started to move down the hall. She made sure to send winks towards anyone who happened to look her way. She also made sure to swing her hips as she walked. She saw a couple of red faces when they turned the corner to head for the stairs, so she's accomplished what she wanted. She looked back at Shiro. "So. Your family is all about tradition right? Is that tradition going to end up screwing us at bad times?"
@ Singularity
Rika glanced at Eva, her partner, as she spoke to her. After a couple of moments, she finally spoke. "Mind your own business," she said in her accented voice (British to be exact). She then looked away. She wondered if she would get in trouble for just leaving. She didn't feel like hanging around with her team any longer. When she saw them all beginning to leave, she decided to go the other way. She had directions to their dorm on her scroll. She could find it later. For now she just wanted to be alone. She walked out of the large double doors that led into the courtyard. Maybe she could find a nice tree to sit under, catch up on a book. Something. As long as it was quiet. She didn't even check to see if anyone was following her. She reached her right hand up to grab the bicep of her left arm. She rolled her shoulder, her face twisting in discomfort. She felt like she had been sitting in the cold for so long. For not having muscles anymore, she sure felt sore in that area a lot.

It's ok singularity c: )
She thought about it, chewing and glad to have gotten a reaction out of her, "Four on the ground floor, five on the next, two big rooms on the third and the attic." She counted them off on her fingers. Growing up, each siblings had had their own room, but as they moved out one by one, Niv had slowly expanded her empire until she practically ruled the second floor. "But the two rooms on the third are my parent's studies. I'm not allowed there." Which was not to say she didn't go. There hadn't been much to look at, just computers and old photos. Honestly, it had been disappointing. "The attic's pretty cool, full of old stuff. There's this picture of my great grandma," She started, suddenly excited as she remembered her find, "And I swear, she's the double of my sister, Jackie. It's creepy. She had better hair though." She gave her own bob a little pat. 'Amazing' was not a word typically associated themselves, and they weren't sure how to respond, so simply tilted their head. In the past, people had been overly friendly as a ploy, children could be cruel after all, and Larimar had learnt that wide smiles and compliments weren't always what they seemed. They weren't about to try and expose Luxia, after all, they barely knew each other, but still, they weren't buying it. "Sure." Their dorm was coming into view, but before they could reach it, Shiro and Isis walked out. The much taller girl walked unlike other girls Larimar usually associated with, as if she didn't stand out enough already. Larimar's stepmother would not approve, they could see her affronted sniff in their mind's eye quite clearly, all pomp and propriety. "Thanks for waiting." They said as the two parties grew closer, not out of cheek, more out of blatant truth.
"Decent is one word." Was all he offered, coming up to stand beside his partner. He was not necessarily small, just that Bradley was much taller then him. Initially, he'd resented that somewhat, but there had been no point fuming over it too long, and he'd simply learnt to tilt his head back when speaking. He leaned back on the wall to take some of the weight off his bad leg, "Summer was fairly profitable. I got a lot done." Whether or not this was school work, training, or dipping into the odd business, he decided ot leave undetermined. He hadn't seen Niv or Wysteria yet, but he could assume they'd all had radically different summers. The quieter girl would've been out on the hunt for her father, and the louder wouldn't have slept for two months (at least, not at night). "Ready for this new year then, Brad?"

Wysteria's eyes widened hearing how many rooms Niv's house had. Her own house just had two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a study, a living room, and a kitchen. It was enough for her father and Wysteria but now it felt empty. The girl couldn't comprehend how Niv felt when she was alone in such a big house and she felt concern for her friend now. "Aren't you lonely?" Wysteria asked unable to get over the worry inside of her even seeing the excitement on Niv's face. The Faunus looked at Niv searching he eyes for anything that she should be worried over but she glanced away as she missed her plat more than once trying to get more food on her fork. "I'll come over to your place over winter break. I need to train more so I can do something when I do find him." Wysteria glanced up as she finished off the mashed potatoes and met Niv's eyes before glancing back down at her plate.
Shiro followed Isis and her face grew red at how the other girl was acting. If Shiro acted like that she would have to wash the floors of the family's dojo and all the practice swords. Even then she would have to do more. "My family has lived by the same code for generations. From rebelling against Menagerie to defending a whole village from Grimm alone with death most certain, the Vulpes' code has driven my family to do only good things in this world. I won't be the one to break that code. So if protecting the innocent and defenseless gets us in a tight spot, then so be it." Shiro smiled when she saw the rest of her team and went over to them. "Hey, sorry we went ahead. We are going to put Akari and Hikari in a locker, you two want to come?"
Luxia walked in silence as Larimar didn't reply. There was a giggle threading to escape her throat as the two birds made there little metallic chirping sound. Luxia wondered how Larimar would respond to that but kept silent as she watched them. Perhaps she would suggest to Shiro they do something as a team to bond. Though Luxia was one for forming strong bonds so it was probably just her wanting them to be close. The young girl noticed the other half of their team come out and she began formulating the words she could use to encourage each team member. She didn't know them well enough to though she could assume which she hated doing. "I'll go if Larimar goes," Luxia told Shiro in response to her question. "I don't want to leave them on their own."

@ Singularity and SpookyR
Aurora's friendly gaze had shifted from Eva to Rika, but he faltered mid-wave when he saw her eyes. There was no friendliness in them, no humor or joy, in fact they seemed filled with hate. He hadn't expected such hostility, especially not from someone he'd spent so little time with. Overcoming the momentary loss of cheerful demeanor he completed his wave and smiled at her, though perhaps a touch less genuinely than he had Eva. It was hard to be so positive in the face of such negativity, even for an endlessly happy person like Aurora. Upon Eva speaking after Maple had he nodded in agreement. "I don't think there are classes today, so finding our room's probably the best bet. Today's when we get to know each other, then tomorrow's our first real day. At least I think, it may have changed since my big brother was here." As he started to follow both Eva and his partner he became starkly aware that Rika was not, in fact, following them as part of the team and looked over his shoulder to see her walking off. Well, that was hardly going to help them work together, now was it? "Uh... I guess we're looking around campus first..." He wanted to stick together, so instead of continuing down the hall he left through the same double doors Rika had. "Hey, where ya' going?" He grinned and jogged over to her when he was outside, entirely oblivious to her intentions and the entire reason she'd walked out in the first place.

She stopped mid-chew, her fork halfway to her mouth. Niv didn't like to feel lonely, or to think about it. It was a childish weakness and she was indefatigable steel, or at least, she tried to be. Maybe that's where her love for parties and large crowds had originated, but for all those wild friends she seemed to have, she was always alone in Atlas. She'd hadn't admitted to finding that big house awful for some many years that to hear it so bluntly coming from Wysteria felt like a cold shower. "No." It came out more sourly then she intended and she kicked herself inwardly, She was just asking, don't be a baby. To try and play it off, Niv raised one shoulder in a shrug, "You can come if you want, I was just suggesting." She took a long drink from her milk ( good calcium intake is very important), her black gaze finding immense interest suddenly in the pattern of brick in the wall.
"Whatever." They turned on their heel and started walking back the way they'd came. They thought about what they'd seen of their team leader from the earlier fights - sword skill, flashing lights. Isis also had caught many eyes, how could she not? She was a good fighter, with no want for the necessary aggression that came with the job. Luxia too, with her voice and her birds. Their own performance was difficult to comment on from their own point of view, self evaluation was so boring. But they'd worked well enough together, hadn't they? It was an odd team name, a lot of slender sounds, but they were an odd team. They were attracting a stare or two from other students and that, literally, ruffled Larimar's feathers a little. To distract themselves from strange eyes, they decided a conversation might help, "I take it the dorm is alright."

@ Sappho and Ghostling Isis smirked at Shiro's red face. Well, that was more the reaction she wanted. She came to a stop as her partner suddenly changed direction, blinking in surprise. She looked towards where she was going, and spotted the rest of their team. She followed Shiro over, putting one of her hands on her hip. She shrugged as Larimar spoke. "We though you were right behind us. Not our fault you don't walk as fast as we do." She then smirked once more. "Yeah, Shiro forgot to put her weapons away and now risks her chances at Beacon. What in the world would we do if she got kicked out?" She chuckled softly, then looked between Larimar and Luxia as the girl spoke. "Oh. Am I sensing some blossoming feelings between the two of you?" She turned to walk with the others as they started to move, enjoying the attention they were getting unlike Larimar.

Larimar looked back over their shoulder (not small feat, considering the tail), eyebrows raised, unimpressed, "Do you see hidden meanings in everything?" Luxia seemed nice enough at a glance, but they barely knew her, and they'd had a total of three whole conversations so far. The concept of romance was alien to this kid, having never felt or received it, it was something movies and books (usually bad ones). Isis seemed to enjoy the stares and was walking with all the confidence a bare footed first year faunus must be able to muster, so, when coupling that with the statement, Larimar put a mental pin on her Strange girl. Despite the obvious physical differences: height, build, and faunus attributes, there was something similar about her. Her tattoos and their glitter, the square of her shoulders. A tiny pang on their stomach was suddenly glad she was on their team, and not an enemy. Well, for now.

Wysteria's eyes widened in response to Niv's tone and she set down her fork and put her hands in her lap. The fact Niv seemed to have gotten upset with her caused the usually shy girl to grow quiet even though she was rather talkative with the girl sitting at the table with her. She had just been concerned. Should she had not been worried? Wysteria looked at her hands and then remembered she was still hungry but then she would have to look up. To solve this issue, Wysteria took the extra length of scarf and draped it over her head like she usually did when she didn't want to be bothered. With Niv blocked out of her periphal vision, Wysteria returned to eating within the safety of Cold Scarf. Suddenly she remembered how she was her first year at Beacon, her scarf drawn up over her nose and speaking short sentences. Niv had startled her and frightened he more than once with her fiery personality but now it was refreshing.
Shiro frowned at the mention of her getting kicked out of Beacon. She doubted that would happen. But the risk was still there and she wanted to put her katanas away before she changed her mind. "Hey, let's do something as a team. Get to know each other and stuff," Shiro suggested with a smile. "Maybe we can work on decorating the dorm room together. It would be fun." The fox Faunus wanted to do her best as leader but she knew almost nothing about her team mates. She hadn't really been paying attention to them in the initiation as she was focusing on her training. It had all been instinct and perhaps something about Luxia's voice that seemed to give her an extra boost as well. "So what do you guys thing?" Shiro wanted to seem like she knew what she was doing and to be honest she had an inkling but it was still foreign to her. She could see the excitement on Luxia's face as she suggested a group activity and felt relieved that she might be on the right track.
Luxia began to shake her head at the suggestion and her face grew pink. "N-no, nothing is going on," she stammered flusteredly. She looked at Larimar and then at Isis unsure of what to do and who to go with. The silver birds flew in a figure eight shape over her to match her confusion and she was relieved when Shiro suggested a team thing. "I agree. My semblance requires me to say things that can encourage and it works better if I know stuff about you and how to appeal to your strengths and overcome the weaknesses. Doing something together can give me the chance to figure things out." Luxia smiled and went over to Larimar and held out her hand for them to take. "Let's go with them, Larimar." A small part of her felt as though it was breaking as an image of Paige followed by a silhouette of a girl with buns on her head appeared in the back of her mind doing the same act as she was but like usual she ignored it and continued to smile.

Isis sighed softly, shaking her head at Larimar. "You're no fun." She then glanced at Luxia and smirked. "She gets it however. You're much more fun." She liked it when people responded to her teasing. She always felt like the reactions of people being teased were more genuine then said person wanted to reveal. It's why they always got so red. They were realizing that the teasing might be more true than they thought. Always fun. She looked between Shiro and Luxia then. "I suppose it might be worthwhile. If it makes you better in battle later, then we should probably consider this your training." She focused on Shiro. "We should get your weapons put away first, before we get distracted." She started to walk away once more, heading for the locker room. "If you're coming, then get a move on."

Citrine laughed again. She always loosened up around her teammates. No matter how terrible her day had been, they made all the stress melt away. "Yeah," she chuckled sarcastically, "we can eat all the food now." A sudden glow lit up Citrine's face, as an absurd idea struck. "That's what we can do! Starve all the first years!"
(Sorry it's so short)

Lila
Lila bustled around the other new student, trying to calm her nerves. All her life she'd dreamed of being a huntress and now it seemed as though her dream would come true. Though however much she tried to be hopeful, darker doubts invaded her mind. She hadn't grown up in Vale, and had no idea how the students of Beacon would react to her presence. I'm not even sure if my team likes me, she thought quietly. Sighing the young blond tried to peer out above the heads of the people crowding around her. I just hope this works out...
Zobel
Zobel peered over the top balcony where the other students stood, attempting to catch a glimpse of the new members. He smiled, imagining the horde of nervous wrecks that would soon populate the place where he had stood a little more than a year ago. The other kids up on the balcony seemed more interested in the others up there than the new initiates, and honestly Zobel couldn't blame them. The freshies were being extremely uninteresting, and if he didn't expect disaster to come sooner or later, he would have ditched a long time ago. Sitting in boredom, the black haired boy turned back to the students with him wondering which would be the most entertaining to annoy. A flirtatious smile stretched across his face as he spotted a short and blonde fourth year student standing off to the side. Sauntering over to the boy, he stretched, cracking his back dramatically. "Hey you," he started, not really knowing the boy's name. "For someone with your looks, you sure don't attract a crowd." ( kiwi cheesecake )
Pallas
Pallas laid flat on her back, a scarlet colored book sprawled out in front of her. Totally enraptured by the story, the dark haired girl was curled up on her bed oblivious to the gathering. As time creeped by, and pages flew by fast, she started to realize the absence of people more and more. By the time she'd finished, Pallas had started to chew the inside of her cheek, rubbing it raw with worry. Stepping outside of the room, the brunette scanned for any other people. When she saw no promising results, she retreated and grabbed her black jacket, slipping it on before she wandered off.

Denver rolled his shoulders back, looking around at the school, tilting his head in curiousity. No one was to be seen. Scowling, he paced the floor, running slender fingers through his dark hair. Had his family seriously dropped him off and expected him to know and find everything. Denver absentmindedly wandered the halls, mind on his family. His mother was the queen of their illegal organization, her new husband just a puppet for her. Denver, of course, knew this, and despised his step father for treating him badly. His twin sisters, Nila and Lila, were polar opposites. Nila was set to take his mom's place, while Lila rebelled at every opportunity. Denver rolled his eyes at the thought of his little sister. Family was more important than teenage angst. Balling his fists, he shook his head focusing again on where he was. It seemed to be a dining hall, a shade larger than his family's at home. Not only did his family send him away, but the guy felt more alone than ever.

"Umm..." He wasn't exactly sure what this... second? Probably second year boy had asked him. He shuffled from foot to foot, a little nervously. All he caught was something about looks and being alone. Something about the boy's face made him feel... uncomfortable. In a glance, Ercu took in his black hair and dark eyes. He didn't seem threatening at all, but definitely wasn't up to any good. Ecru had a bad feeling about this. All he really wanted to do was leave, but that wouldn't be 'setting a good example'. Instead, he settled on a question. "...Excuse me?"

"Oh there's no need tok be all modest with me," he started, winking at the short fourth year. "I'm sure all the girls and guys are simply tripping over themselves to get at you." Zobel continued walking forwards until he was an arms length away from his target. Making sure the boy didn't have the time to answer, the black haired student continued. "So what do youthink about this whole thing," he asked waving his hands over the masses gathered. "It's seems a bit excessive doesn't it?"
