Ecru started as the boy spoke, jolted out of his thoughts. "Umm..." He wasn't exactly sure what this... second? Probably second year boy had asked him. He shuffled from foot to foot, a little nervously. All he caught was something about looks and being alone. Something about the boy's face made him feel... uncomfortable. In a glance, Ercu took in his black hair and dark eyes. He didn't seem threatening at all, but definitely wasn't up to any good. Ecru had a bad feeling about this. All he really wanted to do was leave, but that wouldn't be 'setting a good example'. Instead, he settled on a question. "...Excuse me?" Zobel Zobel smile grew larger as the boy's confusion about the whole situation intensified. "Oh there's no need tok be all modest with me," he started, winking at the short fourth year. "I'm sure all the girls and guys are simply tripping over themselves to get at you." Zobel continued walking forwards until he was an arms length away from his target. Making sure the boy didn't have the time to answer, the black haired student continued. "So what do youthink about this whole thing," he asked waving his hands over the masses gathered. "It's seems a bit excessive doesn't it?" Ecru looked at boy in startled confusion, taking a step back just as he moved forward. "I... don't..." He looked around for a moment, searching for anyone to come to his rescue. Unfortunately, everyone else seemed to be entirely occupied at the moment, be it their friends or with some object or weapon. Moments like these make me wish I had some friends. he thought wistfully, reluctantly finishing his search. Turning his gaze back to the boy, Ecru felt his stomach twist unnaturally. "Are you... flirting with me?" he asked, the shock evident in his quiet voice. "I don't even know you!"

If anyone wants to rp but isn't I have Chatoyant and Merc free ~ I hope I didn't miss anyone here, but if I have gives a shout)
Seeing her partner wrap herself up, just as she had beforehand when they were younger made Niv inwardly kick herself hard and swallow a sigh. She knew the girl long enough at this stage to know that she'd hurt her feelings, but still smarting from the astute guess, she wasn't prepared to say anything about it yet. She kept eating, though some of the food had gone cold and cold beans were pretty gross. She wasn't a fan of long silences but back in the early days, she'd managed to build up a real defense to them, when Wysteria would hide behind her clothing and the frosty silence reigned heavily. Sure it'd been a few years, but there are some things you never forgot how to do. As the minutes ticked by and neither of them spoke however, Niv realised how little practice she'd had at these long stretches and her will finally broke, "Didn't think you did that anymore." She gestured to the scarf with her fork, "The wrapping-up-and-disappearing thing."
"Alright then, let's go." They said, their voice just louder then a whisper. Not through fear or uncertainty, just because the light above their head was flickering, and Larimar was watching it like it was the most fascinating thing they'd ever seen. Their short attention span could be a real pain, especially in class, but so far they'd managed to keep it under control. They'd nearly gone the whole day without staring off at some spot on a window or a dog walking by, but they'd reached their limit, it seemed. The three other girls melted away as the faunus' mind wandered, thinking back to their old home town, wondering how things were. There'd been an old flickering light bulb in the back shed in the garden, a nice quiet spot that was handy for vanishing for a couple of hours.

The silence was something Wysteria was used too and at times welcomed. In a situation such as this were she had no idea what to say or what the response will be, she was happy to sit and eat in silence even with Niv. By now her green beans were cold like she preferred and she used the silence to eat all but a few she couldn't scarf down. She turned her attention to the remaining bread and pursed her lips as she half wanted to save it for later though that would mean no butter possibly. The lilac eyed girl decided to eat one piece of bread and wrap up the other. As she bit off a piece, Niv's words weighed on her as she tried to think of a response. Using the fact she was chewing, Wysteria thought about her words carefully. "Old habits die hard," she replied softly. It was true that she hadn't done this act of putting up a fabric wall in a while but it was still her first response to verbal conflict. It made her feel as though she was a small child again, wrapped in her father's arms as he kept her warm from the cold. People's words had a habit of seeming like that cold and just as she would protect against the frigid air of the snowy places she went to, she would do the same against the words others sent her way. "And I don't like the cold," she added referring to the association she held between the cold and words.
Shiro clapped her hands together and bent over at the hips slightly. "It's a plan then. And yes we should go to the locker room." She straightened and followed after Isis. She wondered what the next four years would be like. She wanted to lead a great team and she knew there was potential here for greatness. Suddenly she began to feel dread inside as she realized all the pressure and responsibility rested on her shoulders. She was the leader and therefore it was her duty to keep them on the right path towards the greatness she strived for. She took out her scroll and looked at a new message from her sister. Apparently she was back at home to visit the family. She had just missed seeing her sister which saddened her but at the same time she was relieved. She sent a message back and then put the device away as she walked beside Isis towards the lockers.
Luxia watched Larimar closely as they seemed to have spaced out. She controlled one bird to settle on their shoulder while the other settled on the top of her head. "What are you thinking about?" she asked in a slight sing song voice. She put her hands into her pockets and wondered if she would one day get through Larimar's walls. They seemed to be distant and Luxia associated that with being guarded. She had been like that when Sol and Paige first found her and she had no idea who she was or where she was. The only time she would let down her guard was when she was playing with her birds in the middle of a secluded space. She eyed Larimar as she walked and then looked at the other two Faunus ahead of them. She began to wonder what each of them held within their hearts and the histories they had. What memories did they had that she didn't? For some reason she wanted to know the past of others quite possibly because she had no idea what her own past was.

Isis put her arms behind her head, stretching a bit, but mostly staying relaxed. She didn't feel nervous, and she rarely did. She had a lot of confidence. Well, maybe it was more forced confidence than anything. Sure, she had skill and strength, but she was still a newbie here. She knew she had zero experience next to even the second years. She'd barely killed any Grimm back home. Her guards wouldn't allow it. She had to sneak away to do anything she liked. Anyways, as long as she looked confident people would mess with her less. The older students would be going after the nervous looking first years, thinking they were easier targets. They probably were, depending on their goal. She was going to make sure that she never let anything get to her. She hated to say it, but she didn't know if her team would be able to actually handle the pressure. Sure, if she were in their shoes, she wouldn't either. But that didn't mean she wouldn't act like she could. She kicked open the door to the locker room as they reached it, moving inside and glancing at Shiro. "You should have your locker number and the codes to it in your scroll."

She snorted a little at Wysteria's comment on the cold: they were both cold, in their own ways. Heat wasn't how they did things, that wasn't how team QWBN got on. "Well then, your foods not going to do you much good. All of mine's stone cold now." She muttered, pushing the last of her beans around the plate, glaring at the tiny vegetables (were beans vegetables?). "And it's only going to get colder. Winter's just around the corner." A part of her didn't mind the seasonal change, it meant wraps and fur throws and drinks that burned going down, but she would miss the easy going way of summer, skimpy dresses and late nights out. Niv was no fool, she knew the deeper meaning behind Wys's comment, but had no intention of acting on it today. "Kinda wish our dorm had a fireplace. Sure it's a major health hazard, but it's still cool."
They heard Luxia's voice far off, and forced themselves back to thinking in the present, though vaguely annoyed, "Hm? Nothing, really. Just that." They pointed upwards at the bulb, which was dying at an alarming rate. Larimar noticed the little bird on their shoulder and blinked at it, giving it a gentle poke with the finger they'd used for pointing. It wasn't often someone had a weapon that doubled up as cute, and it was peculiar to see anything animated. What name did this one have again? A tiny sparkle of guilt flushed in as they realised they hadn't being paying much attention, but they ignored it for now. Luxia was bound to bring it up again, and besides, they didn't owe this girl anything.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday I was in a really bad place mentally and emotionally)
Wysteria looked up at Niv at her snort and a few loops of her scarf fell in front of he face as she went to take a bite of her bread. "I like cold green beans. I don't want anymore though," her muffled voice told Niv as she pulled the scarf down so she could eat. Fixing the rest of her scarf, Wysteria listened to Niv speak as she finished her piece of bread. "Winter is awful for me cause I am cold in every other season. Add a season meant to be cold and it's just a nightmare." A shiver ran up her spine just thinking about it and her worries about Niv melted away. Anything related to winter made her forget most of he other worries as it caused more concern in her mind than anything else. At the mention of a fireplace, the Faunus perked up and a slight twitching motion from under her hat could be seen as she thought of the warmth of a fireplace. "I want a fireplace. Or just a heater in general. Preferably a moving one."
Shiro watched Isis and saw a bit of her sister in her back from when they were children. The confidence and individuality, it was all Kuro. That's what Shiro had tried to imitate but she ended up becoming childish instead despite her mature nature. When Isis kicked open the door, Shiro skipped inside, pulling out her scroll, and she looked up the locker and the codes to open it. "Locker 545, locker 545 where can you be?" Shiro asked in the form of a song. "Ah, found it!" She hopped right in front of the locker and input the codes. Removing the sheathed blades from her waist was torture and her hands slightly shook as she did it. If anything she had her semblance if anything but she was taught that her katanas were an extension of her soul. It felt like she was leaving her soul behind as she put the katanas inside and locked them in the container. "There," she said with a smile. "Let's go decorate our dorm room as a team," she said cheerfully.
Luxia looked at what Larimar was pointing at and tilted her head. She felt bad for it though it wasn't even a living thing. The blonde girl mentally shook herself for feeling bad for an inanimate object and shifted her attention to Larimar. "Do you like her? That one is Shaydra. She is the only one who looks different than the rest because she is a dark silver. People have trouble keeping track of which is which but I know somehow. I feel like they are connected to my past but I'm not sure." Luxia looked at the path ahead of her, watching Isis and Shiro, and wondered if Larimar even knew about her amnesia. She didn't mention if but perhaps she should at least tell them. "I have amnesia so I don't know who I am or where I am from. These birds are the only clue I have. My name is not even my real name, it was given to me by a man named Sol and his daughter Paige." Luxia held out her hands, cupping them as the bird on her head flew down to her open hands. A pang of sadness twisted at Luxia's heart as she looked at the bird in her hands but her smile stayed on her lips. "I don't mind though, it gives me a goal in life. Find out who I was and where I'm from."

I have a White Fang person available.))
Isis smirked, moving her arms from behind her head to cross them under her chest. "You do know that I'm going to have to kick your butt up and down the hall if you try to bring these back to the dorm, right?" She was mostly joking, but if their leader really did try to purposely break the rules, she would rather dole out the punishment than the teachers or headmaster. Besides, she figured yelling and chasing or kicking would be a good way to knock some sense into her. Her eyes flicked as she heard what Luxia said, glancing over at her. "Amnesia? That sounds like it could be fun. Or you know, awful. Still, you haven't figured anything out yet right?"

"Well, the best source of heat is another person's body," She fell back into her easy tease without breaking stride, kicking those earlier tensions under the proverbial rug, "And it's a lot more fun. But a radiator on wheels could be useful. Something to," she clenched her fist in mock patriotism, "Unite the team. Keep us together in these long, cold nights. I'm sure Brad and Quarender are very cuddly when you crack them open. A real pair of teddies." She pushed her plate away from her and finished off her milk, which left a little white rim along the upper part of her lip, "There's no way the school's cheap budget would spring for it though. We'd have to go on some crazy mission to be allowed so much as a match." The thought of missions sent a little shiver of excitement down her spine, Third year was when they got dangerous, the jump between second and third year was bigger then any other, as by the end of the year, they were all adults.
Taken aback by Luxia's sudden share-fest, Larimar listened with what might have been pity. Sure, they didn't have anyone themselves, but this girl couldn't even remember if she had something. Purpose or no purpose, the prospect of a memory-less beginning was frightening, even if there were some thoughts Larimar would rather forget. Isis' comment seemed fairly distasteful, but the faunus was learning quickly that this girl seemed to do as she pleased, and so said nothing. If Luxia was easily offended by it, then maybe she shouldn't have told these relative strangers such personal facts, "That's quite unusual; we're both raised by people we aren't biologically related to." They gave a little tilt of their head, unless Sol did know her, but they doubted that. "But I didn't lose my parents or my memories, so i guess it's not that similair."

Wysteria blushed slightly and kept her eyes on her bread as she wrapped it in a napkin. "Snuggling sounds nice," she murmured under her breath as she looked up as she put the bread in an inner pocket of her coat. She looked at Niv as she spoke and stifled a laugh when Niv obtained a milk mustache. "Niv, you have something on your face," Wysteria pointed out, not touching on Quarender or Brad being cuddly. She took her unused napkin and reached over to wipe off the milk before sitting back down. "I don't think one measly match is worth risking our lives. Maybe a heater but not a match." Wysteria tilted her head from side to side to stretch it out and kept a hand on her hat to keep it on. "What do you wanna do now?" she questioned wondering if Niv had anything planned.
Shiro looked at Isis and gave her a cheerful grin. "I would expect nothing less," she replied. She would never risk her place at Beacon but she would continue to maintain her katanas. She wouldn't be the one to ruin family heirlooms. The fox Faunus checked her scroll as Isis and Larimar turned their attention to Luxia and frowned when there was no message. "I couldn't imagine not knowing who I was," Shiro said returning her attention to her team. "My family and the code I live by are everything to me, if I lost that I would be, well, lost. What if you are some heiress or the daughter of a criminal? That would be something I would want to know. Your family defines you, in my opinion." Shiro had grown up learning that what she did not just affected her but her whole family. Things that her family did in the past influenced her now. Not knowing who she had to live up to and surpass would leave her with no goal in life. She would be lost.
Luxia smiled and shrugged. "It means I can be a new person. Who I was might have been a bad or good person so now I can start over as an even better person. I see this as a good thing." At the mention of remembering things, Luxia grew unusually solemn and she thought back to the girl with five buns on her head that she saw at times. "I think but it's just images. Always the same person." She began to get lost in her thoughts until the bird in her hand pecked at her palm due to her fingers trembling. The one on Larimar's shoulder began to hop and when Luxia realized she made a grand motion with her hands and the birds returned to her hair to deactivate. "Sorry, did she hurt you?" she asked Larimar. She didn't reply to what they said but she felt like she had more in common with them now. Shiro's words made her grow upset. Family was something she didn't even consider. Her past was separate to the life she lived now and so she tried not to think about it. She remained smiling and simply shook her head. "Sol and Paige were all the family I needed."

Isis patted Luxia on the back. It was meant to be comforting, even if she had hit her a bit more than gently. "Hey I like the idea of a new person. I kind of wish I could do that. Who needs family if you don't know if they were holding you back? Forget em!" She slouched a bit, draping her arm over Luxia's shoulder. She grinned at Luxia, giving her a wink. "I can be your family if you want. We all can. What's the point in trying to remember your family? They're either dead, or they don't care. Cause they would be looking for you if they cared, and if they don't they deserve to be dead." She nodded pointedly. "Cause I have no idea why people wouldn't want you in their family. I only just met you and I think you're pretty awesome."
