I'd like to develop it, if you don't mind that is c:' )
Her black eyes blinked as the hat was suddenly removed and she found herself staring at her partner's face, "You couldn't get much cuter if you tried, could you?" She grinned after a moment, noting the other girl's blush by giving her nose a gentle poke, "It's real good to see you too. Though I wouldn't say being around Quarender or Bradley makes me a better person." Her own nose wrinkled comically in disgust, "One's a wet blanket and the other is a bottle of gasoline. Thank what God is up there we ended up on the same team. I would've gone mad a long time ago with you." She admitted, rubbing the back of her neck and smiling all the time. She straightened up, only just taller wearing her kitten heels, and pushed off the wall, "This school can be so serious. Could use with a little bit of chaos."

That's fine I was hoping for that anyway)
Wysteria blushed even more though she smiled softly after her nose was poked. "I'm not as talkative with them as I am with you so I don't really talk to them. I don't really know much about anyone other than you, Niv." The Faunus went over to her coat and put it back on, giving the other girl more time with her hat. "To be honest," Wysteria began to say as she buttoned her coat up, "I feel that if I wasn't partnered with you I would have never told anyone I was a Faunus." Wysteria chuckled at Niv's last remark and went back over to her, taking back her hat from Niv's head and putting it on her own. "Do you want to start some chaos? Maybe we can find some first years?"

Niv couldn't understand what life was like for Wysteria, alone and marginalized, and the idea of her hiding something as large as her identity made even this iron girl wilt a little inside. Still, fate had put them together, and she wasn't alone, and that was what mattered, Niv scolded herself briefly. "Yeah, let's get a pair and make 'em fight to get into their dorms!" Her eyes flashed and that was the indication she wasn't exactly joking the whole way. "They'll be so eager to prove themselves to us experienced third years, they'll fall over themselves volunteering." Her grin was malice and mischief as she envisioned it, "It'd really fire up the first night."

My starter cx )) Late to the party per usual. Denver snorted, looking around at Beacon, trying to hide how impressed he was. Managing a loft look, he chuckled. Just like his family to make him arrive fashionably late. Teams were formed already, and the guy already felt a bit off. Of course he'd excel there. He excelled at everything he put himself to. Despite his false bravado, inside he shook with nerves, and put a shaky hand into his pocket, where his most treasured belonging sat. Shaking his head, clearing the doubts in it, Denver strode into the doors, back straight, chin high with a sly smile on his face. On his left hip was Lumina, on his right, Nox. Hopefully it was here that he'd finally find his Semblance, and gain full acceptance from his family.
(Short but it'll do for now)

Silver chuckled and thought about how much he would miss his teammates and his fellow students, he looked over at slate. "Do you want to train?" he asked. He has trained with him multiple times before. Seeing as Slate was his team captain. He would miss sparring with people. "I suppose that I could be convinced, yes." Slate had given his answer long before he finished his sentence, drawing his legs up from the side of the building and standing up. With a quick brush of his pants he was already on his way inside, one hand on the door to keep it open for Silver. It wasn't likely to be crowded, given the first years' ceremony tonight. He was reminded of his own then, how surprised he'd been to be given the role of team captain. It suited him in that he was unflinchingly fair and always did what needed to be done, but combine a decisive manner with a taciturn demeanor and pretty soon you were thought of as an iron-fisted dictator.

Silver remembered his first day. He was glad he didn't have the responsibility of being a team leader. In fact there had been many days, he watched Slate lead the team and thanked the headmaster, that he was not the leader. He followed Slate. It has been a while since he had sparred with his team mates. Silver didnt really say a word as he went to the sparring area.

RUSKA Ruska knocked on the door, a series of quick, light knocks that gave her away, "Citrine, you in here?" She asked as she opened, without waiting for a verbal confirmation. She found her team captain, unsurprisingly, lovingly caressing her weapon. She gave an affection eye roll, "Did you spend all summer fawning over your baby or did you get in any human-on-human interaction?" She quirked her head to the side, light curls bouncing as she moved. It wouldn't have surprised her if the captain that literally spent two months with only her weapon for company. "Talk to a shop keeper? Bump into an old friend?" She offered, a big smile tugging at her lips. "I have plenty of friends, thank you very much," Citrine snipped, trying not to show her surprise as the other girl opened the door into her face. "And I do talk to them. I had a wonderful summer." She rolled her eyes slightly, shifting her stance. She knew others though her preparedness was just obsession, but she knew better. "What about you?" she asked. (Sorry for not being on much, we have a guest and we were showing her around.)

Should we do that? Shouldn't we be good upperclassmen? Let's just spin them around and let them find their way. We can do what you want though." The Faunus waited for Niv to guide her to their next adventure and she started to wonder what her life would be like if she had not met the girl. She would still be keeping everything to herself afraid of everything. But now she felt like she was brave when she had Niv next to her. For two years, she had enjoyed Niv's company despite missing her father and being alone. She had yet to find him but she would never give up. She looked at the grin on Niv's face and only felt an inner warmth fill her body. Niv always made her cold interior melt away.

"Anything in particular you want to work on?" Slate glanced over his shoulder at Silver, the edge of his eye barely visible behind those dark glasses that never came off. Once he'd left them on the sink while he'd showered and somebody had stolen them to try and get a good look at his face, but he'd strode out with another pair that seemingly materialized from the steam. "I've nothing."

it's cool spoof ^^ want to rp with her? I've got Larimar open and np star!!)
Larimar stood, growing a little more irked by the shoving of bodies as the seconds ticked by, but refusing to let it show. They finished their cracker and turned to their team mates, my it was a strange team indeed. At least now they didn't have to worry about standing out among them. Particularly not the that taller girl around, Larimar couldn't work out what kind of Faunus she was, but they didn't really care. Wings trumped a massive tail every time. Not usually the one to break the ice, but eager to get the uncomfortable pleasantries out of the way, they extended one pale, soft hand in a short wave, "I'm looking forward to working with you all." They said with a tilt of their head and a brief blink, to no one in particular.
"Fair enough." She shrugged, sitting down on the bed beside Citrine, and making it bounce as she did, "I'd like to say I did lots of things, and I was super active, but that would be a lie, and I am nothing if not honest." She joked, stretching her arms out in front of her. She felt stiff, and wound up, she often felt like that at the start of the school year, however. It was an eagerness to get started, to be back at the books and the missions. "Aren't you excited to not be a first year?" Ruska grinned, "We're moving up in the world!"
"Hmmm, it is tempting." Niv tapped a finger against her chin in thought, "But I really don't want to start the year off through getting my ass kicked by Merc or the Headmaster for mucking around." She sighed, rolling her eyes in a wide circle. The rules at this school were ridiculously strict, in her opinion. She'd heard rumors of a team in the year above setting the cafeteria on fire once, and see, that was the kind of legacy she wanted to leave. But it'd be just their luck that some teacher would be lurking around a corner waiting for them. "Why don't we put a pin in the first year dog-fights and just see if the cafeteria's open?" she suggested, starving suddenly, after her work out.

"Maybe that's for the best," Wysteria replied softly as she watched Niv. Even though she knew Niv wanted to leave a mark on the school, it would en best not to do that while they still had another year left. At the mention of food, Wysteria's stomach growled and she blushed out of embarrassment. "I think food is a good idea. Should we go get that now?" The best thing about this school was how good the food was. Wysteria wasn't the best cook and why she had money left by her father to buy things, it couldn't make up for her cooking skills. "I'm ready to eat something not burnt or undercooked for once," she said with a soft chuckle. Maybe the reason she hadn't gained much weight was because she didn't eat much over the break. She made sure to ear breakfast and dinner but unless she was in a town she had never made lunch for herself. Her stomach rumbled again and she decided to take the lead on this one, taking Niv's hand and leading her to the cafeteria. "I think I'm going to have some chicken and maybe something with potatoes. Oh, steak sounds nice too."

She snickered at her partner's stomach giving her away and allowed herself to be lead, placing her other hand on her hip as she sauntered after Wysteria. Worrying and fussing were not things that came naturally to Niv, but the faunus' eating habits played on her mind. She wanted her happy and well fed, and made a mental note to make sure she saw her eat at least twice a day. "I prefer my daily intake of nutrients in liquid form," She admitted, thinking of her favourite drinks, all of which were banned on school premises, "But I would murder for a steak. Like, real murder, right in front of the entire school. In cold blood. But only if it had really nice gravy with it." She linked fingers with Wysteria glancing up and down the corridors, "Man it is empty tonight. Is everyone at the opening ceremony? I know Brad and Quarender went but seriously, I expected more people out tonight."

"Don't laugh," Wysteria murmured flusteredly. She was smiling though feeling Niv's hand in hers. The other girl made her feel safe and free to be herself. At Niv's comment, Wysteria stifled a laugh and glanced at her. "I don't think there is any nutrition in those drinks, Niv." She listened to Niv, laughing the entire time, and looked around at Niv continued to speak. "Should we find those two or just eat without them?" Wysteria asked with food still on her mind. "I think that ceremony is boring, we saw the same thing our first year. The only good thing about that is to see who the new people are. I much rather spend that time catching up with you."

"Eat without them." She didn't even hesitate, ice cold when it came to food. "Brad is like a mother hen, he probably ate on the way here, and I don't think I've ever seen Quarender eat. Bet he drinks blood." Her heels made tiny clicking noises on the floor as they walked along, almost teacher like, the feathers on the backs of them bobbing with every step, "And, quite right. If it's between some random first years and you, it isn't much of a choice." She couldn't even say she was particularly close with any other people in her year. Sure she knew them, and would gladly get drunk in their dorm if they offered it, but she wouldn't consider any of them friends. Her team was standoffish as a whole, and didn't exactly invite confidence with newcomers.

Wysteria nodded and walked in silence. She was running out of things to talk about and with food on her mind she just settled with listening to Niv. She nodded along and thought about what she was saying until the scent of food reached her nose. "Food," she murmured softly as she struggled over releasing Niv's hand to run to the food or just to pull the girl in heels along with her. She opted for the second option, picking up speed as she pushed open the doors, and she smiled at the smell of food. "I am going to get some food. Do you want to find a table or do you want to come with me?"

The cafeteria was as empty as the halls, so she just kept up the pace, "I'll come with, I don't think there'll be much rush for seats today." It would be different tomorrow, for sure, fully of kids eager to get their first breakfast in school, pushing and shoving. This was the time pacts and alliances were formed, though her own first breakfast had consisted of her tapping away at her scroll, annoyed at the peculiarity and silence of her team, before pouring salt in some people's cereal just to see what would happen. The food looked good, and there was so much that she knew there'd be great waste tonight, "I don't see steak, but I do see pork chops and that will do me just fine. Oh! Baked beans. What are you getting, love?"

Wysteria nodded and looked at the food, afraid if she spoke drool would come out of her mouth. She walked calmly over to the food and began to peruse her options. "Chicken," she murmured grabbing a plate and beginning to put boneless chicken on her plate. Her face scrunched up in concentration and she tried to decide on want to get. There was so much good food and she wanted it all, but there was only so much room on the plate. "Green beans and potatoes," she decided out loud. She scooped up some mashed potatoes and some green beans before turning to Niv with a full plate. She spotted some bread and her eyes widened as she went over to pile three pieces on her plate. She put some packets of butter in her pockets and looked at Niv excitedly. "Are you done?"

Sure why not.))
Isis had her legs crossed and had been very relaxed through the whole process. She had no reason to be nervous, she knew she belonged here. Plus why be overly excited? It wasn't like this had been her first choice, or even her choice at all. She was only here because of her parents. She stood when Larimar did, putting one hand on her hip. She would have stretched out her wings, but there were way too many people to do that. Still, she was probably the tallest girl in the room, maybe one of the tallest people period. She would be no doubt if she used her semblance though. She smirked at Larimar, finally taking a moment to give them a good once over. She had no idea what to think of them. "I suppose it'll be good to work with you as well. Though that little test in the forest didn't show how good you guys are, it was only a taste. I'm withholding judgement until I get a real show. Until then, I'm going to think you're average at best. Might as well give you the benefit of the doubt since I have to work with you no matter what."

Citrine rolled her eyes again, smiling as Ruska spoke. Her teammates were all... something. They kept the year interesting, at least. Not to mention how great at fighting they all were. She'd say they were the strongest second year team- although that could just be her ego talking. "Definitely," Citrine agreed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "I can't believe we're already this far, honestly. It seems like just yesterday I was a clueless little first year, wandering around with big eyes and a gaping mouth." She chuckled slightly. "I'm so glad that's over."

(Hey, sorry I haven't been on.)
Sonya hated being late. She couldn't believe she'd missed the airship up to campus for the second year in a row. She'd managed to get a ride up, though she knew she'd missed all the ceremony that typically accompanied the beginning of the year and she'd been looking forwards to meeting all the new students. Dragging her bag down the dormitory hallway, she ducked and weaved between milling students, making her way to the Crescent dorm room and, without any hesitation, flung the door open. Grinning wildly, she dropped her bag and ran over to her teammates, nearly tackling her team leader before checking herself and stopping short, "It's so good to see you both again, you would not believe the past few days I've had! How were your summers?" She wrapped an arm around Ruska and gave her a firm hug, letting out a long sigh, "It's so good to finally be back!"

Do you remember who is partnered with who in the team?)
smiled at her new team. It was her team. She was the leader and she would make sure to do a good job of it as well. The girl next to her seemed to be unsure of things tho smiling despite the pain in her eyes. Maybe it was because Shiro faked her own exterior or because she was used to seeing the pain in her sister's eyes, but it was clear that it was hidden well. The Faunus stood up and clapped her hands together. "Well team, shall we find our room and get settled in? As leader I believe we shoudk get to know each other. In my family, we have a saying, 'The sword is not simply a sword but a greater of its parts'." She didn't quite understand what it meant but why not say it. She looked at the tall girl and the small one still sitting. The peacock Faunus seemed uncomfortable and Shiro twitched one of her fox ears in annoyance of the fact she had no idea how to make them better.
Luxia remained seated as she held one of her bird clips in her hand. It was active so the blue eyes were glowing. The bird was the size of a hummingbird and it was one of the once from her hair. She noticed the others stand and she controlled the bird back to her head to its place before standing. She was the only one not a Faunus and it made her feel like she stood out. She remained silent as she looked at the others. The leader of the group had spoken and she wondered if she would be able to fit in with this group of Faunus. She still would have her birds if nothing else.
