The prey is barely debatable, it's mainly for sunning, which is honestly a stupid reason to fight for. Also these are actual large pieces of rock, shouldn't it be roasting hot during the summer time? I'm surprised no cat has accidentally cooked themself to death yet

Cats are different from us in that way. They are 102 degrees, and (I can't remember the actual name of this) their ideal temperature, or temperature at which they have to expend zero energy warming up or cooling down, is 80-90 degrees, as opposed to our 70. Also, we wear clothes. So cats like heat a lot more because of their metabolism. They also don't experience pain from heat until 126 degrees, as opposed to our 112.

I'm surprised no cat has accidentally cooked themself to death yet the rocks aren't as hot as you think, given that they are right next to water. but yeah, they are kind of worthless. Thunderclan only ever uses them because they seem to be the quickest place to get a drink if you are coming from camp and they are used for times when the camp isn't safe.

On the DOTC map Sunningrocks is shown to be an island. Idk why it wasn't described that way, but the map is at least consistent with the debate.

And I remember Gray Wing had to swim to them at some point early on and a rogue that already lived there yelled at him.

YEAH, THAT'S WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT Oops. Caps lock was on from me saying how hype I was for Tawnypelt and ThunderClan getting in a fight with the rogues and ShadowClan on a different thread.
