Not sure if this is entirely cleared up but just incase, here's a quick tutorial.

Firstly, go to "Reply." Make sure that you're not on "Quick Reply," if so, you can click the button that says "Reply" on the right hand corner of the "Quick Reply" text box.

You will then type in the text you want to resize and highlight it. Afterwards, you'll click the tab that says "Font Size" on the left hand corner on top of the "Reply" text box. You'll then get options on what text size you want your text to be.
For example,
