(Oh, sorry, I should've made it more clear. Her 'offer' is to claw his pelt if he hurts Mottle. Sorry, my bad!)
"I... I know." Casper looked at this smaller she-cat. She didn't seem as scary as the other one; maybe she was the same age as him? "I can't hunt, and I was just looking for food, I heard you and... uh, maybe thought you.. you had some." He stuttered, cursing his tiny voice. "B.. but please don't claw me. I can leave."
Mottle chuckled. "No idea, probably not. Although building dens calms her down, so maybe." The she-cat looked around, her multi-colored eyes scanning the terrain as she tasted the air, scenting a bird and her ears perked, glancing around and spotting the prey in a tree, resting in a nest. It's too late in the year for there to be any eggs or young birds... Her claws slid out in anticipation.

"I can't just hunt for every defenseless kit that stumbles into my territory, Casper. I'm a rogue, not a queen." Her claws are unsheathed, working the moss in frustration. She couldn't harm a kit, it wasn't in her nature. But she could hope her big talk would scare him away before she relented and let another poor sap stay in her territory. She wasn't looking to lead a glare, here. She would honestly prefer working on her own. "Snow, what do you think? If you're going to be around, you ought to have a say. What do we do with this scrap of fur?" Her eyes focus on Snow, intense, tail calmed to an irritated twitch for now.

"F..fight?" Casper swallowed looking at the two she-cats; the bigger one didn't seem exactly happy to see him there. "N.. no. But I can learn. And I can learn to hunt, too. I'm good at scavenging... You won't have to hunt for me." He shook his head, eyes flicking from Snow to Wasp.

Jagg kept his eyes peeled for prey as they continued on. "Well if we come back with alot of prey maybe she'll loosen up." Just after he had finished his sentence he noticed a squirrel in the trees ahead of them. Quickly he slinked away and scaled up the tree. Silently he crept through the branches of the trees to where the squirrel had stopped to chew on a pecan. Looking at his position and the position of the squirrel he planned it out before striking. Leaping at the squirrel he grabbed it in his mouth and crunched down. The squirrel died quickly but Jagg lost his footing on his hind leg and slipped a little. Wobbling the tom quickly scraped back up, his claws digging into the tree fiercely. Regaining his balance the sandy tom took a moment to catch his breath. His heart was beating loudly from when he lost his footing and after he calmed down he scraped down the tree and his paws thudded onto the forest floor when he landed. Trotting back to where Mottle stood he waited for her to continue on with him.

{{ Sorry guys I'm back }}
Cora looked around curious as to who the owner of this land was but forgot about it when the tom offered to take her hunting where there was a lot of fat mice. "Yes that sounds great", she meowed taking him up on the offer. "And no I havn't your the first cat I've come across since we came into this territory. I havn't even come across any scent trails", the brown shecat added before stepping towards him a single step to show that she would follow him. This was still an unknown cat and she didn't want to be walking into an ambush but the tom seemed genuine so she decided to just keep a watchful eye out.
{{ Where can Jagg join the party? }} Oct 10, 2016 20:21:58 GMT 2 Megido said:"Uh, sure, we can go... I know this spot over by the stream that's always swarming with birds, if you want!" Marsh replied, ducking his head in the direction of said stream. "I can't hunt yet, but clearly you can! And I feel bad about ruining your first catch, so. C'mon!" He bounded over a root, starting towards a narrow trail through the bushes. Better to end everything on a positive note, he figured. Like hunting, and not pointing out that practically none of his questions are being answered when it came to Bark. He hadn't even gotten a name out of this strange kit.... ****** Bark nodded slowly, regarding Cora's movement towards him with an appreciative noise kind of like a short hum. "Alright then. Follow me. No better, walk beside me. No offense, I trust you to know not to attack those who reach a paw to help, but you can never know." With these words, the large tomcat turns around, swishing his tail as he moved along the way he came, following his own scent-trail to lead Cora to the field near the barn. Once he's brought her there, he could still quickly go back searching for Sparrow as soon as he could. ****** "I can show you some stuff, of course only if you have the TALENT TO... hey, wait for me!" Sparrow exclaimed, immediatly leaping after Marsh as soon as he realized he had to get moving so as to not lose Marsh. Thanks to his long legs, he had caught up to the other kit rather soon, enjoying the feeling he had when rushing through a large, wild, unknown for him territory together with someone else... it was amazing, felt magical even. He hated that his father had told him not to go here, it was amazing!

"I don't blame you, but as long as you are not planning on hurting me then I will not harm you. I pride myself on my honor, I would never attack a cat with its back turned", Cora meowed and walked a tail-length away from still at the toms side with him leading her. "This kit you mentioned... Would you like help finding him?" she meowed after a few moments of silence. Might as well make an ally if she could, this tom seemed like he would make a valuable ally in the future and she didn't want to turn down a chance to make friends.

"Good catch." Mottle commented, before glancing over and seeing that the bird was still perched in the tree. Her small size made her a good climber, so the she-cat slinked towards it, hooking her claws into the bark and pulling herself up silently, making sure that her fur wouldn't brush any leaves. Her eyes fixed on the bird as she slowly pulled up to the hook of the two branches in where it was perched. Quickly she reached in with her claws and pulled the robin out, biting it quickly. With a purr of satisfaction she slid down the trunk and leaped the last few feet. "Let's see how much prey we can bring home." She meowed, eyes shining.

"Thank you, you too", Jagg meowed and buried his catch next to hers so they could continue the hunt. Moving on the sandy tom could hear the cooing of pigeons not too far away and changed direction heading straight for them. Stopping behind a fern the tom looked ahead of him. There was a whole flock of pigeons on the ground underneath an acorn tree feeding on the fallen nuts. "If you circle around to the other side and be both attack at the same time we are bound to each catch one!", he meowed excitedly to Mottle knowing that if they made this catch they would be able to return to Leaf with a full load.

Mottle's eyes shone. "This is perfect!" She purred quietly, watching the pigeons. "But the second one flies the rest are going to follow, so we have to be really quiet. I'll go around, wait for me," The dappled she-cat slunk around the edge of the clearing, eyes trained on the ground and flickering to the prey, making sure she didn't make any noise. Once she had gone to the other side successfully, she looked over at Jagg, waiting for his signal to pounce.

Jagg waited patiently for Mottle to get into position and once she was he waited a moment long so the birds didn't detect their presence. Lashing his tail as a signal the tom leapt forth towards the birds managing to catch one in his claws and sending all the others straight for Mottle. They had taken flight but because Mottle was so close all she had to do was snag one out of the air. They were flying so low to the ground it would be an easy catch for her. Quickly dispatching his catch he looked to see what had become of Mottle.

Mottle leaped forward, reaching forward with her claws and hooking each into a separate pigeon, which both decided to fly a different way. Cursing, the she-cat yanked her claws out of one and pulled a different to the ground, biting it. The one who was still alive could no longer fly and was frantically fluttering on the ground, so Mottle went and ended that one as well. Her claw stung, and as she inspected it there was a small tear. The she-cat growled quietly and began to lick it, wincing. "Good catch!" She meowed between licks, eyes shining despite the injury. "We'll have plenty of food for everyone tonight."

"This turned out to be a great hunt... Are you okay?", Jagg asked moving to Mottles side noticing that she was nurturing her paw. Picking up his catch he moved over to help her and waited for her permission to pick up her prey for her. They had only just met so he didn't want to cross a line.

Mottle flicked her tail in permission, eyes flashing gratefully. "Just fine." She meowed, gingerly placing her paw on the ground and winced, then put more weight on it. "I can walk, it's not bad. Just tore my claw; it'll heal." The she-cat stood to grab one of the pigeons. "We should probably go grab the other prey and head back..." Mottle meowed, voice muffled. "So Leaf doesn't think you murdered me." She joked.

Jagg gave a small chuckle to Mottles joke and picked up two of the three pigeons and started to head back to where their other prey lay. His dark amber eyes kept darting to Mottle as she limped. He knew how painful a torn claw could be and for some reason he was worried for her. With a mouthful of prey the tall tom was silent as they traveled back the way they had come.

Mottle tried her best to walk normally; she hated calling attention to herself. As they approached the clearing where her sister was at, she ducked under the branch and slipped through the undergrowth, looking and seeing that Leaf had made a lot of progress; incorporating the rock into the den by weaving more bracken and moss around it and used was beginning to use brambles to create a sturdy wall on either sides, expanding the den.
"Looks like you've been busy." She meowed, setting her prey down before sitting and watching her sister. "Do you want help?"
Leaf raised her eyebrows from her task, eyes flickering to the two cats. "Good catches." She meowed, then shrugged at her sister's question. "If you want." The she-cat said, tugging at a stubborn piece of bramble.

Jagg followed Mottle and set down his prey on top of hers creating a small but bountiful looking pile. "Wait, Mottle why don't you rest your hurt claw, I will help Leaf finish the den", he meowed stepping forwards his long tail touching Mottles flank gently before he looked at Leaf. "What would you like for me to do?", he asked letting her place him where ever she wanted.

Hurt claw? Leaf thought, looking sharply to Mottle then to Jagg. She was about to ask rather harshly, than realized it mustve been an accident with the prey more than anything. The feisty she-cat then looked over to Jagg again. "We need to build these brambles so they're sturdy and will keep out wind and rain; once snow comes we will need to figure something else out, but for now it'll be fine. Come over here and help me weave this bramble in; and watch your pads, they still have thorns."
Mottle gave a small huff of satisfaction at seeing her sister actually treating Jagg with some bit of decency and sat down to watch while licking her claw carefully, cleaning the dirt from it.

Jagg nodded and went straight to work. At first his movements were reserved as he was trying to be careful not to have a thorn poke him but the tom eventually just pushed through the tiny pokes realizing it wasn't that bad. He managed to weave the brambles in densely without getting any thorns in-bedded into his paws, a couple baby scratches but nothing a few licks wouldn't heal. "There how is that?", he asked curiously when he took a step back to look at his hard work.

Leaf pulled back, realizing that between the two of them they had finished enough that they would be able to sleep comfortably through the night. "Looks surprisingly well done." Leaf said curtly... She wasn't about to praise this tom. With a satisfied flick of her tail Leaf padded over to her sister, sniffing her claw. "Just keep it clean. What happened?"
"Got caught on a pigeon... Caught two though." Mottle said proudly, eyes gleaming. "If the den's done, we can eat now."

"Sweet", Jagg meowed and went and picked up one of the pigeons and began to pluck the feathers from its belly. Settling down next to Mottle he listed to the two she-cats as they spoke about her hurt claw.

(You're good, I get that)
Leaf nodded and grabbed the robin, setting down it it right next to Mottle but far away from Jagg as she began to eat.
Mottle took a pigeon and began to de-feaher it, her mouth watering as she bit into the side, purring. "I haven't had pigeon forever! It tastes..." She tilted her head, thinking for a moment. "Like any other bird." Leaf scoffed, although there was something like a good-natured twinkle in her eye, and continued eating.
