Looked at the news today, and I'm really wondering, is it a huge geographic or cultural change?

I'm not sure about Canada in general- and anyone's free to correct me if I'm wrong- but I've heard you can't just go and live in the country instantly. You have to apply to live there and it might take a few months or more to accept you. If over a million people want to go there all at once (which might just happen if Trump becomes president) then I wouldn't be surprised if you had to wait over a year or even two years because of an nflux of people.
In that case you might wanna go to Mexico instead, cause by the time you'll finally be all settled in Canada you'll already be through half of Trump's first term, and before long he'll be out of office. 4 years of moving around wasted imo.
But yeah, if you're planning to move to canada no matter what then now would probably be the right time ^^" cause if Trump gets elected it'll suddenly get really hard to get in.

My top three choices for after this election are Canada, Israel, and Hawaii. If anyone has any better ideas, please let me know.

Of course, it depends on where you're from. I wouldn't know much, since my perspective isn't an outside one. Are you guys seriously considering moving up here? I don't blame you, just...wow.

It took me 8 months to get accepted to move out here. It's a really good option.

I live here and let me tell you.
In Ontario, there is legitimately no difference. If you live in the Northern states anyways.
There's just more Shoppers where there is Wal Greens, Tim Hortons where there is Dunkin Donuts, and we have The Real Canadian Superstore instead of Target. We also have free health care and a pretty attractive prime minister.
You're gonna like it here.

It might be considering the paperwork that needs to be done. I have never looked into leaving country and moving somewhere else but i know for sure there's a lot of things you need to actually consult with officials. Like a visa, if you plan on working, where you're living, if you know anybody already in the country, ect. Healthcare isn't exactly all free either, but it's pennies which we dont have anymore oops in comparison to the US. As a Canadian I can tell you that stuff you see in the US, like the bigotry, is not something new here. or at least in the most conservative province, Alberta. Which is funny because lol NDP government. So it all just matters where you plan to live. I hope to god Trump doesn't win, considering that whole thing that happened with him today. I still find it so... mind-boggling how he has ANY followers

We had Target briefly but it was booted out since the sales weren't going so great. I miss it everyday of course, but we have plenty of other variety stores that work just as well.

Our prime minister is actually named Justin Trudeau, pretty nice guy all around, people seem to adore him.

I heard Kathleen Wynne and now I'm sad. The only thing I know her for is making hydro super expensive.
