People love Ivypool because they relate to her, but what about Dovewing? I know a couple of people say they relate to her, but I dont see many.

Not really. She and I are so different in personality.
The only thing that I can relate to her is our tendencies to fight with our siblings. Even then, it's different; she has to deal with her sister's jealousy, while I mostly have to deal with having a completely different skill set from my brother.

maybe there are a lot of people who relate to her but can't admit it to themselves because they don't want to see their flaws...
but anyways
i would not
i would have loved to have her powers from the start if i were her age.
i would know how powerful a protagonist's plot armor can be sometimes so
i would know that i could handle anything that came my way!!!!!!1

I relate to her in the concept of having someone jealous of me simply for what I was born with. I grew up in a well-off family and in a well-off neighborhood, and it drove me nuts when people would judge me because of it. What was I supposed to do? Go homeless and live on the streets until people would respect me? Holy cow.
My dad was an immigrant from a single home in England struggling to get food on the plate each day, came to America and worked his rear off to get to where he was now. To disown my family and their lifestyle would hurt my dad so much cause he did it all not for him, but for his family.

I relate to having something not many people understand, and being reluctant to talk about it. Also, the whole sensory powers and not wanting those 'powers' is me daily.

Ehh....not really? The only thing I can relate to is not working well under pressure. But I've never had anyone jealous of me for my talent, let alone a sibling. And I've never had two guys trying to court me at the same time, lol.
Personally I guess I relate more to Ivypool? I'm kinda rebellious, had sibling rivalry and inferiority issues. I also have abandonment issues I guess...I've been in someone else's shadow before. I've always been compared to my older siblings, and easily disregarded because of them. I went out and try to find my own style in life, and let that mold me into the tough person I am today. I do have PTSD. Also I'm pansexual, lol, Ivy gives me vibes that she'd be pan or bi, *cough* Blossomfall and Fernsong *cough*.

The only thing I can really relate to is her being rebellious/angry with Lion and Jay over being demanded to do so much for them and their precious prophecy and to feel like you're not getting anything in return at all.
But other than that, not at all.

To some extent, yes. I'd hate having a power that my entire society relies on to avoid getting destroyed by evil ghosts. Can so many of you guys handle all that? I'm impressed.
