I am reading rants on other websites and people call her a mary-sue. Uh, she is far from it. I mean she's broken two codes, got pregnant, lied to everyone and dragged her sister into her problems, cats no longer trusted her, I mean everything fell apart. Sure, she got what she wanted for a little while, but after that her life was screwed up the moment she gave birth.

sometimes the argument can be made…

because the warriors fandom is obsessed with sues literally no writer i know even uses that term because it's so outdated and doesn't refer to the real thing anymore warrior fandom has a strangely strong obsession with sues Yep. |

Okay, I found out that my friend thinks she is a bit of a mry sue and these are her reasons:
she is a medcicine cat
her father is firestar
two of her kits are prophecy cats
her mate was a prophecy cat
and more points I don't remember. I think these are kond of vague though. You aren't a mary sue because of who your relatives are.

I think that most apprentices don't choose it because it is such a large commitment. You cannot have a mate or kits and the whole clan is depending on you to do your job because there are only a few medicine cats. Also kits are aiming to be leader, the highest rank, and they can't do that if they are a medicine cat. |

I think that most apprentices don't choose it because it is such a large commitment. You cannot have a mate or kits and the whole clan is depending on you to do your job because there are only a few medicine cats. Also kits are aiming to be leader, the highest rank, and they can't do that if they are a medicine cat. That is true, bur you'd still think more apprentices would want to make it so that they can help their Clan, plus leadership requires just as much if not more commitment than being a Medicine cat does. You have to take your time to manage the Clan, attend gatherings, call meetings, appoint a new deputy, and various other things that weigh heavily for the Clan, not to mention the fact that if you're a she-cat, you'd be frowned upon choosing to have kits, just not as much as a Medicine Cat would be Also, Medicine cats tend to stay out of battle, which could provide a longer lifespan, and they have the knowledge to heal themselves with herbs if they catch a sickness. Then again, these are cats and may have different perspectives as to the various ranks in the Clan |

I don't see how she would be a mary sue. It irks me that people dub her a 'sue' just because she's related to Firestar. I found her an intriguing character when she was young... but after the whole Crowfeather ordeal, I'm just not really into her character that much anymore. She seems kind of bland now.
