I know there's a few people who still like Ferncloud, but many don't seem to care for her anymore. Sure, she was a background character, but Ferncloud cared and raised a lot of kits. She sacrificed her life to save the kits in the nursery during the Great Battle. It makes me angry how Vicky blamed us for the death of Ferncloud. I get that Ferncloud isn't popular, but that's not a good enough of a reason to kill her off. A lot of people hate Dovewing and Millie, so why not kill them off too? But they're still here.
I liked Goldenflower too. She raised Bramblestar and Tawnypelt and genuinely cared about her kits. It is a shame she had an off-screen death.

I love Ferncloud, but feel like she was killed off a little too early. To me, she didn't really get up to Goldenflower's level, but she was a good mother and queen.
And I angry, it's stupid that we get blamed for the death of a character.

Probably because the books made her seem like a baby machine which produced cannon fodder for the main characters.

Dustpelt, though, I felt really bad for him. And I found out just how emotionally attached to him based on how sad I was when he died.

I actually really liked Ferncloud. I'm upset that she got killed off based on the fanbase's unreasonable

I really liked Ferncloud. I felt horrible for Dustpelt when she died, seeing the grief he went through.
