Hey ya'll! I have changed my mind on a few cats recently! I am also currently rereading OotS to get a final opinion on some cats like Ivypool and perhaps even Spottedleaf, so these guys won't be on the list right now! I will not list names on the new cats like Puddleshine (even though I like him) because the series isn't even fully completed yet.
Love: Firestar Sandstorm Mothwing Leopardstar Daisy Ravenpaw Hollyleaf Star Flower Thunderstar Tallstar Cinderpelt
Like: Dovewing Silverstream Millie Honeyfern Turtle Tail Dawnpelt Crowfeather Squirrelflight Blackstar Leafstar Cinderheart Bluestar Fallen Leaves Palebird Poppyfrost Moonflower Shadowstar Riverstar Skystar Snowfur Leafpool Ashfoot Brightheart
Neutral: Heathertail Stormtail Briarlight Blossomfall (borderline like) Ravenwing (MV) Sharpclaw (borderline dislike) Jayfeather (borderline like) Lionblaze (borderline dislike) Whitewing (borderline like) Berrynose Spiderleg Thistleclaw (borderline dislike)

Wait, just curious, why do you dislike Mousewhisker? I don't like him because, in Dovewing's Silence, he and Cherryfall both led the Dark Forest trainees into the fox as a trap. I don't care if they didn't think that they didn't know the group would actually go for the fox. They put their lives in danger and Ivypool and the others could have been killed. A lot of cats were complete jerks in this book, and these guys are one of them.

Why do you dislike Tawnypelt? I don't like her because she ran away from her problems instead of dealing with them in a more mature way. I get that she felt judged, but plenty of other cats like Lion, Jay and Bramble were all judged too and they never ran away from the Clan. She's a great cat for ShadowClan, don't get me wrong, but she didn't handle things properly. Bramble and Golden were both affected by her betrayal when she left the Clan, and she followed Tiger even after everything he's done. However she did seem to know that he was horrible, but I just don't like how she ran away from her problems.

Thanks.

However she did seem to know that he was horrible, but I just don't like how she ran away from her problems. Don't you think it's pretty unfair to compare her to other cats, though? I personally find the argument to be kind of weak considering Tawnypelt is a completely different cat from Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Bramblestar. No cat is the same. Tawnypelt was wrong to run away, but I can see her reasoning. Keep in mind that she was young and really, the only ones who really seemed to trust her from the start were Goldenflower and Sandstorm and maybe a few others. Even Firestar was a bit wary of her, but was most concerned about Bramblestar mostly because he looked like his father. And speaking of Bramblestar, like I said, he and Tawnypelt are completely different cats. Bramblestar was ready to prove his loyalty again and again even if his Clanmates never came to trust him, while Tawnypelt was getting more frustrated and it's immediately that she's more insecure than her brother. To her, it seemed like her Clanmates would never trust her, so why stay? A Clan is supposed to be like a family, but how can she feel any loyalty towards them if they constantly compared her and her brother to her murderous father? Smallear's comment on how she would end up like Tigerstar just because she was late for cleaning the bedding was the last straw for her. So, she went to the only other kin she knew. Even if he was a monster, at least she would be accepted into a Clan without having to live in her father's shadow. Like Tawnypelt said, all she wanted to do was be a good warrior, but she couldn't do that in ThunderClan. It may have been wrong at first, but moving to ShadowClan was the best thing she could have done with her life. She was eager to carve her own path and that's exactly what she did, even if it is with a different Clan. Other than that, Tawnypelt is shown to be a very dedicated warrior and a loyal friend.

Bramble managed to stay and tried his hardest to prove his loyalty to ThunderClan though. And heck even Tawny managed to earn Fire's respect even while she was in ShadowClan. She had permission to visit his Clan whenever she wanted, so I am sure Fire eventually trusted her. Running away from her Clan only just proves that she is disloyal to ThunderClan. I know it wasn't fair to compare her to others, but other lives were very similar to hers like Lion and Jay, and if they managed to earn their Clan's respect, then Tawny would have eventually. I mean look at Bramblestar. He's the leader now.
