Hey all!
I did change Sparkfire';s name to Sparkpelt in NEW BLOOD BUT I am thinking about changing it back after noticing in the 2nd book of Vision of Shadows Alderheart believes that SHOULD be her name instead of Sparkpelt!
Also how should Alderheart suggest it to his father?

I just voted and maybe Alderheart could tell his dad that she looks exactly like Firestar and her name should be Sparkfire

if you actively prefer the name Sparkfire, go for it
if you feel like you "should" keep her name Sparkpelt, then let them have the conversation but have Bramblestar respond with something like "it is important to honor the memory of Firestar, but Sparkpaw is not him, and I would not want to burden her by giving her such a name; she is her own cat, and she will make her own path, with her own name--I think Firestar would like that more"

UPDATE! I have done it and changed her name back and added some to the scene of her warrior ceremony in Chap 6. Please check it out and feel free to comment or give suggestions. I kept it vague since Kyestorm knows little. Gentleoak would know far more and I will reveal it all in his story!
