I've been uber depressed for the past couple months. This spell hit hard, and I just want to end it. But I decided to try and motivate myself to make something of my life. I'm going to buy dog training gear, with agility courses and such, and train my family dog, Houdini, to do it. He's a purebred border collie, less than a year old, so he should ge able to do great. He loves me enough as is, so we should be a good team together. If he's good enough, I'll ask my parents if we can breed him. And (if I'm lucky) I'll see if I can get one of his puppies for my very own and train him/her (probably him, my mom hates female dogs due to bad experiences X3) in agility as well, and hopefully he'll excel too. I always wanted my own dog, to work with myself, and I love love love border collies. And I know Houdini could be great if he tries, and produce equally great offspring, if not better <3 I would like to be a Border Collie breeder one day, and improve the breed (HA, as if the breed could get any better. They're perfect in my eyes <3) as much as I possibly can. I know this will be hard and I know breeding and partaking in competitions can be costly, and most likely won't get much, if any, in return. But I think it could be really fun, and would be like a hobby. And people spend money on their hobbies like card games, and video games, and the sort. So I wouldn't mind spending a little money to ensure I breed the best quality dogs I can. I can picture myself with, like, 20 dogs XD not all borders either. I'd also like to rescue if I have the funds for it and adopt older dogs from shelters, and possibly special needs. Dogs who have a low chance of getting adopted in the first place. That's why if I buy a house I want a huge yard and put in a fence so they can run around happily outside and come inside when they want. This is probably just a dream, but it's my dream. If I can't help myself, I'd like to help and make a difference in a few dogs lives. And if I can improve a specific breed on top of that, I'd be happy. I'd feel as though I have a purpose in life.
