Once a year a lucky few from schools all over the world are chosen to attend one of the most awesome vacations around. The island is surrounded by tropical waters, reefs home to schools of tropical fish and beautiful pale sand beaches. Its a chance to relax, and network with students from far and wide. (No rules just be nice and try and post an amount that easy enough to respond to, couple of lines minimum. No need to post descriptions describe in rp. Anything of a mature nature take to pm's.) -------- Amelia
For a city kid seeing the beach was amazing. The boat ride out from the mainland, watching the shimmering backs of dolphins breaching the waves, the shine of the sunlight on the ocean. Her dark hair whipped about her face as she stood on the sand. They had booked in a few hours before and now she was enjoying the freedom of no parents and no teachers, but what to do first was her main question. ----- JacobIt hadn't taken a moment's hesitation for the golden haired boy to take to the waves. He had dumped his bag, changed in to board shorts and hurried across the sandy beach to the sea. The water was crystal clear and much much warmer than the channel back home that was always bitterly cold despite the time of year.

Her long legs carried her to the thatched hut that served drinks, taking a seat on one of the bar stools and folding one leg over the other. She ordered a mango smoothie, one served in a tall glass with a chunk of pineapple and a little umbrella to decorate. Her red hair was pulled up in a ponytail gentle brown eyes turned to look out over the beach. There were dozens of people already, claiming loungers or diving in to the waves. Brinn sighed happily, this was the life. The sun on her pale skin, the cool taste of the smoothies.

Louise
Louise sighed to herself as she sat in the corner of the small bar, a bottle of water sat right next to the book she was reading on the table. The brunette watched the water softly, as the waves rushed into the beach, and then to retreat back into the sea. It was relaxing, and she felt herself being lulled to sleep. Shaking her head to wake herself up, she sat up straighter. Louise was definitely not used to seeing the beach, growing up inland. She was used to lakes, rivers, and ponds. Rather than the large ocean that laid in front of her. It was definitely an amazing sight to see. Though she felt quite off, and uncomfortable with being out in the open. Usually shielded by the privacy of thick woods. Picking up her bottle of water she took a drink from it, eyes still not leaving the waters movement. Being caught in a slight trance. Though it was quickly broken by the sound of a seagull causing her to jump slightly. The brunette's eyes scanned the area lightly seeing if anyone had seen her jump due to the birds sudden urge to screech. A few took notice, and was snickering in the corner.. Louise definitely gets embarrassed rather easily, which is something she hates, but can't help it. Her cheeks were already beginning to turn red, embarrassed of herself. She picked up the book she had. Which it was a copy of Diana Gabaldon's 'Outlander.' She quickly opened it up to her page, and stuck her head in it, to look as though she was reading.

Yay someone joined in!) Brinnshanna
As the redhead glanced about her it was quite obvious that many of those invited this year had not spent much time around the sea. People sat staring out at the waves as though it were some lurking monster, waiting to gobble them all up. The girl a couple of stools down from her seemed to be doing just that, entranced by the rhythmic crashing of the waves against the bleached sands. She didn't laugh as others did when the girl was rudely jolted from her trance by the cry of a gull overhead, instead turning her gentle gaze skyward to watch the bird circle. Its large wingspan flexed wide to ride effortlessly on the thermals. When she looked back round the girl had returned to her book, a noticeable colour rising in her cheeks. Smiling softly to herself she contemplated introducing herself. That was after all why the schools agreed to this time away, so students could network, meet new people. She wasn't a great people person so had been surprised when she had been informed of her place on this trip. Maybe it was time to change all that, to find some inner confidence that had previously been lacking. Steeling her resolve she moved down the bar, carrying her drink with her. "Is it good?" She questioned, gesturing to the book the girl was reading, already feeling a little awkward for interrupting her.
