It's 1972, the threat of war has not yet been established. Little do those attending the safest place in the wizarding world know how treasured it will be in the coming years, between the rise of You-Know-Who and the betrayal of those closest to them. Until then, all that concerns the students of Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry is studying magic, preparing themselves for the real world, and creating relationships that will last a lifetime. Relationships that will last a lifetime. Tucked among those relationships are the Marauders - consisting of Hogwarts finest pranksters James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. The pranks and chaos ensued will be so great and frequent, one must ask if Hogwarts will survive it.
Rules
Honestly, there aren't really a whole too much in terms of rules. You all know them - you get reminded of them on every roleplay you join. So, let me reiterate.
Try to be literate, please. Just a little. But you can chill a little in OOC, because I definitely do. I don't capitalize anything in OOC, because I'm a chill person and I have chill standards to uphold.
No cursing, but like. mudblood is ok. Well, not ok, but permitted. You catch my drift.
No like. Intense !! gore; there really shouldn't be a lot if any at all in this type of rp; and no like hardcore romance.
Any sexuality of course is ABSOLUTELY allowed. Anytime. I didn't add it in the joining form because some of the characters are set in the books and claimable and obviously the view of the sexualities of set characters are up for debate, depending on who you ask. But, if someone claims a character, they have final say in sexuality.

Lystra is a very quiet, withdrawn girl. She keeps mostly to herself, and would much rather withdraw to a quiet corner of the common room than talk to most people. She
can be a bit defensive and on edge a lot of the time, but she's far from skittish-- she's more passive aggressive, really. When she doesn't think anyone is looking, she looks
sad; other students in third year and above claim that this is because her older brother wandered into the Forbidden Forest her first year, and he never came back out.
She's very small compared to most students, most of whom tower over her, even the first years, though she has a look to her that is capable of scaring away even nosy
seventh years. She has long blond hair and pale, smooth skin. Her right eye is a bright, fiery gold while her left eye is a steely gray-blue.
She has an ebony wand of six and a half inches with a phoenix feather core. Her patronus is a German shepherd, her boggart is a vampire, and her amortentia smell is freshly
cut grass.

Remus is. Well. Different, to say the least. He has a certain "affliction", one might call it, and because of it his body is put under tremendous stress. He has scars all across his
body, most noticeably his face. His once light brown hair is beginning to be flecked with gray. He's tired, always, constantly tired. None of which, obviously, is his fault.
That doesn't stop him from making excuses, however. Regardless of what he has to go through, Remus Lupin has never missed a deadline. Schoolwork is always top notch,
always. High marks are a necessity, and using his issue as an excuse is not even thought of. Therefore, one may infer that Remus Lupin is extremely hardworking and very
studious, but sadly that hardwork and precision always goes into his friends' pranks, as well.

Lily is a sweet girl, just as her name suggests. She's tall for her age, with long dark red hair and strikingly pretty green eyes. She has a smooth complexion, free of freckles and,
so far, acne. She has a kind, gentle look that matches up quite well with her personality-- a truly kind girl, she's willing to give just about anyone a chance rather than being
prejudice. She typically tries to stay out of fights, but has a tendency to stick up for the underdog-- which is most of the reason that her best friend is Severus Snape. Her wand
is 10 and a quarter inches and made of willow, with a phoenix feather core. Her patronus is a doe, and her amortentia smell is the smell of the air after it rains.

place. If she ever hears someone complaining about the school, or her favorite teachers, she lectures them. She has a mean look to her, as a whole.
