Does anyone else think Ravenpaw would have been better off as a medicine cat? I'm re-reading the first series, and I just feel like with his personality he would have fared better as a medicine cat.
Am I the only one who thinks this?

He probably would. But I think he still prefers life as a loner.

Well, yeah, he does enjoy life as a loner. But I meant would it better if he were made a medicine cat apprentice in the beginning--as compared to being a warrior apprentice?

I feel like he would be good as one. He's nice and gentle and he caring so if he was a medi cat then he would have been great on it.

I have to agree, although I could see him running into trouble during medical crises (such as Sorrelkit's poisoning or Brightpaw's injuries from the dogs) due to his poor handling of stress.

I think he will get nervous and panic. After all, the life of the cat could be one his shoulders and that is a lot of pressure on someone.

I think he would have been a pretty good medicine cat if Spottedleaf had helped him keep his emotions in check, but losing her while he was still so young would not have done him any favors…
