okay, before I finalize my rp and send it off to be posted here (it's in my drafts), I was just wondering if my idea would actually be alright.
alright, so in my rp it's in a universe called Danger Days. A few of you might have heard of the album, but I doubt many of that few know the story behind it. So basically, there are rebels of this big corporation living in the desert in a post-apocalyptic/dystopian California. It's not the post-apocalypse that I'm worried about, no, it's just the company that I'm wondering about.
so this company, called Better Living Industries, dabbles a lot in medication. And robotics, but that is not the point. As it got it's start as an average pharmaceutical company in 1979, it suddenly rose to power during the fires of 2012 (when the Zones (the desert) became what they are) and gained immense power over their subjects. Built a big city called Battery City, and in there they use medication to create synthetic happiness and whatnot to make their citizens sheep and what they want to. Now, this substance is purely fictitious. And, I have put a rule that says that to keep this usage to a downlow, as I read what Tomo has said on this stuff. A minimum. As the substance is not the main focus of the roleplay.
I'm wondering, should I take out that all together? Or just change the rules so that no usage is allowed at all? I'm not too sure about the first one, as that is a big part of the BLI, but if I am asked to I will find a way.
