So, I was reading the manga/comic at the end of Tallstar Revenge and I noticed that Jake was able to go into starclan to walk temporarily with Tallstar. I haven't fully read Tallstar Revenge, but I don't think Jake ever believed in Star Clan. Can atheist cats have an after life? If so scourge, bone, and previous atheist clan cats could be still out there in the after life, and are not in a black hole of non-existence. Any thoughts about this?

I'm pretty sure the other cats have an afterlife as well. I think StarCLan just found Jake form kittypet afterlife land (or Jake found StarCLan) and had him escort Tallstar and since then, Tallstar has been going out of StarClan to see Jake once in a while.

It sorta makes me happy that cats that don't believe, still go somewhere. The best part is Quince is most likely dead too and is with her lost son. The irony is, since scourge didn't believe in star clan, he didn't get to go to darkforest and he's chillin fine with his kittypet/rouge/bloodclan pals xD

according to the Erins, cats who didn't believe in StarClan/the Tribe of Endless Hunting vanished into nothingness; Scourge was specifically mentioned as vanishing into nothingness
the existence of Jake's spirit does strongly imply that other afterlives exist, but there has been no official retcon of Scourge vanishing forever

See this is why I wanted a field guide for where other cats go when they died. I mentioned this on the other forums a long time ago that I wanted to know what happened to other cats.

Maybe Jake believed in something else? He might have his own religious views, and since all religions (as far as we know) are real in the Warriors universe...
Scrouge, on the other hand, was an atheist, who believed that death was the end, hence why his spirit vanished.
