To be fair like one of her kits (Slatekit) dies in the book, and she's also Weaselkit/''Happykit'''s mother... I wouldn't be surprised if she had depression, actually??? Even then Pine didn't get to go out, as Rowan told her no?? One thing that bothered me about the narrative was the flip flop between 'Pinenose cares about Violetkit' and 'Pinenose doesn't care about Violetkit', if that makes some sort of sense. |
