Where's that coming from? I mean I saw that the Shaytards are going to be taking a break and a pretty popular couple broke up... that's all I've seen and though that's pretty unfortunate... but unless anything else has happened... then that's not really the death of you tube?
I mean maybe a lot of other things have happened and if anyone nows anything else I'd love some clarification... cause if a bunch of YouTubers are suddenly quitting I'd like to know.
What have I missed?

No not that. Basically youtube heroes is a system that allows people to earn points for interacting with the YouTube community. One of the things you earn points for is flagging videos with bad content. But of course that's subjective sometimes. But also yes the censorship is also a problem do to the fact that many people had videos demonetized and didn't even know about it. There are better things explaining the YouTube hero thing (I wouldn't recommend watching the actual youtube heroes video because youtube actually changed the content of the video lol but yeah) YouTube is a mess altogether.

Well I dunno about the YouTube heroes yet but the new monetization guidelines are really screwing some channels over.

Well I dunno about the YouTube heroes yet but the new monetization guidelines are really screwing some channels over. apparently the guidelines have always been there and youtube has the right to enforce them do to terms and conditions that everybody agrees to. However, the problem lies with channels being hit unevenly with some people getting demonetized while others dont. But this also effects smaller youtubers more because bigger youtubers have sponsors that will give them money so monetization of videos is good but if they lose a little it's fine.
