last night my sister, her boyfriend, and i drove home from philadelphia. she was really tired and i don't have a permit so he drove. if you've ever driven around philadelphia, or really any big city at night, it's crazy. everyone's honking and not signaling and yeah. this guy is from new york and drove like an actual maniac. my sister was fine with it and he said he'd never been in an accident before, but also in his own words "drives to take people out." we were going seventy or more on an inner city road and cutting people off every two seconds and with one hand on the wheel. it was insane, i actually thought we were going to crash. once we got out of the city and onto the highway it was a bit better. still too fast for my liking, but to be fair i am a cautious person. i really didn't feel safe with him behind the wheel.
should i say something? i mean, first of all, it's not my relationship, and my sister was fine with it. second of all, it's very unlikely that i'll be in that situation with him again because its usually my sister driving her car, plus we're never in the city. besides, this guy is actually pretty nice besides this one issue and i definitely don't want to cause a problem.

I would bring it up with your sister privately if you can do so without him getting told. She can avoid you being put in that situation again.

Honestly? Just ask him directly if he could slow down a bit when he drives, because you don't feel comfortable with high speeds.
