he looked fine at first when we saw him, but he was crying and uncomfortable. I looked closer at him, and it looks like something attacked him from the behind and neutered him?? ugh, it makes me sick, and I'm worried it'll get infected, its really bloody and ugh. Theres no vet around here for hours so idk what to do ughhhh

look up anti bacterial stuff safe for cats, but make sure that a few sources say that same thing bc cats are allergic to a lot of weird stuff

we did have anti bacterial stuff for my kitten, when she was attacked. It did help her, and shes fine now. but it wasn't this bad. Do you think you can get that stuff at walmart? We're going today. idk, I'll probably look into it

theres a chance it may be there, if theres a pet store near you then that'd be your best chance

There might be. I'll be sure to look for it. Ugh, it makes me sick to think about, poor kitty...He wont let us touch him, so it'll be hard to clean it up

I try not to get attached to our cats. We've had such bad luck with cats, we've lost about 6 cats this last year (4 kittens, and two cats) We live on a farm, and there are a lot of predators towards them. (also, we live next door to a woman that has a lot of aggressive dogs that she lets loose. And shes crazy, and hates us, and would probably do it on purpose to let her dogs loose on us)

I feel so sorry for the cat. Why would anyone do that?

When my cat had a big gash on the back of her leg, we constantly used neosporin and hydrogen peroxide on it to keep it clean and she was able to heal up without a scar. Maybe you could try that? I'm also very sorry about your kitty! I hope he gets better!

wait was he not neutered before? or are you using that to describe where it happened maybe something attacked him? Like a fox or something? I'd clean the wound first and then in he morning if there's a way you can get him to a vet, I would definitely.
