Well we don't live in a place with a lot of Japanese population so she says it will help learn how to have conversations and become fluent still, anime isnt the most reliable source for learning japanese. they exaggerate every vowel tbh. watch a japanese tv show, maybe? like with real people and not pixels

My teacher used to make us watch Anime on Fridays as a way to chill at the end of the week and get excited by phrases we could recognize when the characters spoke.
Anime actually helps me recognize terms used and ways to greet and stuff but that's probably just me. Demonic anime tho, lol we uses to watch cutesy shows like Nichijou.
