Mapleshade lead Sharptooth to the mountains
which means she caused Feathertail's death
so basically when other clan cats left there was the whole LeafXCrow issue
they had two of the tree
including Jayfeather who let the ancient cats to the mountains and then part of the cats left and made the clans
she also made Brook and Stormfur meet and they had Lark and Pine
so basically Mapleshade made the clans and the tribe
