Writing a Fan-fic and wanting accuracy? Well, here it is from yours truly. My pet peeve is people not using "official/correct" prefixes and suffixes and capitalizing and smashing words together when it shouldn't be there - or lack thereof. There was a guide to official prefixes and suffixes a while ago, back in the old forums, and since I haven't seen any here, I figured that I'd try to make a second generation one.
This is accuracy according to the style of the Hunters and is not written in any way by them; I've just been reading and re-reading these since roundabout 6-ish years ago...? I don't even know when I started 
WRITING NAMES - SHOULD I CAPITALIZE?
As written in the books, all names are capitalized for the first letter regarding a cat of the Warrior clans and era. Regardless of what the second word is, it's all lowercase. I'll use the cat Mousefur as an example and try to think of all the ways it's spelled "wrong".
MouseFur - Incorrect. This is commonly mistaken because of the capitalization style of the Clans (i.e. ThunderClan, StarClan, etc).
mouseFur - Incorrect because of the reason above and the first letter isn't capitalized.
Mouse-fur - Incorrect. The dash is only used if two letters are right beside each other (i.e. One-eye).
Mousefur - Correct! This is the way it's written according to the Hunters.
Clans, however, have a slight but vital difference that can be irking to figure out. Have no fear! I'll go cliché this time and do the Clan name ThunderClan. The two separate words have each first letter capitalized, au contraire to Warrior names.
Thunderclan - Incorrect. This is commonly mistaken with the capitalization style of the warrior cats (i.e. Silverstream, Yellowfang, etc).
thunderclan - Incorrect because of the reason above and the first letter of "thunder" isn't capitalized.
thunderClan - Incorrect. The capitalization of the "c" in "Clan" is correct, but the first letter of the word in general must be capitalized.
ThunderClan - Correct! This is the way it is written according to the Hunters.
I have found that places and locations that have contractions usually go by the rules of a warrior name (i.e. Sunningrocks, Moonpool, etc).
WARRIOR PREFIXES AND SUFFIXES
These are all of the Warrior prefixes and suffixes that have been used for the four Clans. I am not counting SkyClan because, let's face it, the names Harrykit and Billystorm are just embarrassing and we all did a facepalm when we first read their names and every time after; nor am I counting singular word names such as Millie because no one's going to use the name Milliewhatever. These tables are pretty screwed up, and I tried my best to fix them, so if they look weird to you, I'm sorry. The first table is the mandatory suffixes of certain ranks, and the second table is all of the different prefixes and suffixes I could think of.
*Warriors have whatever suffix is in the next table*
