I dislike when fans have weird opinions. What I mean by this, is when they hate on a character for the strangest reasons, reasons that just don't make any sense whatsoever. For example, I once saw a person who hated Firestar because he was "friends with too many medicine cats, so that makes him a Gary Stu." What? I mean, it's their opinion and everything, but it just bugs me when people hate on the characters for made up reasons.

This kind of goes for all types of fans, but the fans that ship just to ship or their ship is number one and can be the only ship. Even worse if they try to make people believe its canon and will fight you if you say otherwise.

The neonationalists are ******* annoying. But the forum demagogues are probably the worst. They are morons but people treat them like geniuses. Thankfully no such person is active on the forums at the moment. We have neonationalists and demagogues? Anyone who uses the word 'Sue' in their posts about characters. What exactly is a Warriors forum neonationalist and demagogue? Ah well, elaborating may insult people but ok. Neonationalism is an extreme version of nationalism that is mostly a reaction to globalization. This is kind of how the clans in warriors act. Warriors is a series with a liberal message that some how garnered a very conservative fan base and that fanbase tends to support the clan's general discrimination and isolationist status quo on the premise of "pureness and standing on your own makes you strong". It gets exhausting listening to this jargon after awhile because both reality and the series show that such an ideology is not useful and you can't help but think the fans are just being contrarian. A forum demagogue is someone who goes around being divisive and hateful just for the sake of it or because they are on some moral crusade. They are so skilled with words that they will make you believe anything even if it makes no logical sense and for that they are worshiped as gods. These people are the worst, but the ones I experianced were banned a long time ago and never came back. |
