life gets a little full for me and i vanish (as per typical invi rip) for a bit, only to check in and see the forums went crazy while i wasn't looking
as for things on otd, i'm kinda like, eh, otd will be otd, it's expected almost and it's not my home so oh well
but i open the wff and within a few seconds i come across three different threads with classic forumers saying they're no longer writing fanfics ;~; as well as the wff being in the sleepiest state i can ever remember
and that was kinda like taking a drive through the neighborhood you grew up in only to see someone bought all the property in it and knocked all the houses and trees down and that there's not really anything left of your memories.
gave me one of those cold lowkey panicked feelings ya know.
anyway just dropping in to say that probably my activity is going to jump up a little to make up for it (i'm crazy busy so i'll do what i can) and that no way in heckie will i ever stop writing about angsty kitties and claw fights. even if i decided to focus on a novel or something, fanfiction was my foundation and will forever be at the very least the equivalent of writing exercises to keep my skills in shape, especially when motivation for other projects does that momentary vanishing act. also, cats are fun af to write about and there isn't enough of a market for it irl...which by extension means here is the main place i can find quality cat stories. and it's way more aesthetically pleasing to read fics here than on, say, ffnet or ao3 anyway lol.
while i can never be as active as i once was in my prime (my work hours are crazy for a part-timer om g [esp now that my manager has to run two stores for a bit, making her spend most of her time at the other store because the other store doesn't even have an assistant manager or senior sales associate...resulting in my assistant manager effectively taking manager roles at our store and turning me into his assistant manager lol], college is college ya know...woo man that was long for ()s sorry lol) i'm definitely never vanishing and i still think y'all write hella stories
