Felt like doing something like this. I saw a bunch of these on the old forums, so why not? Lol. Name a Clan, Book, or Cat and I'll tell you my opinion of it.
I am open to debate, but please don't flip out if I don't like said book/clan/cat etc.

how do you feel about leafpool. I find most people dislike her but just can't explain justifiably why she drives them up the wall, other than more or less **** shaming her. I am pretty much neutral on Leafpool. I feel like the hatred towards her is a bit...much. Leafpool isn't perfect, and she made some serious mistakes, but she's not an awful character. When she ran away with Crowfeather, she had no idea badgers were going to attack ThunderClan--and Cinderpelt would die. Cinderpelt was fairly young, and Leafpool figured she had plenty of time to find a new apprentice. When she ran away with Crowfeather, neither of them intended to come back originally. So of course, when they were forced to go back, Leafpool didn't really have a choice but to return to her Medicine Cat duties. And then she realized she was pregnant with the Lionblaze, Hollyleaf, and Jayfeather. She never intended for that to happen--she made a mistake. People hating her for this is just dumb. She's not the first--or the last--to make that mistake as a medicine cat, but she seems to get the most hate for it. When she gave up her kits to Squirrelflight, she made a very hard sacrifice--and in the end her kits lived a very normal stable life (aside from the prophecy and later discovering the truth). So yeah, Leafpool isn't an awful character. She's someone who made some bad and rash choices, but no one is perfect. |

Holly Snow - I know what you mean. I don't love nor hate her. I'm just "meh" over her lol. Also, Hawkfrost almost killed Sorreltail? I don't remember that o.o @cookiecollector94- Jessy was an interesting character. I thought she and Bramblestar were cute together, but personally, I'm glad they didn't become a couple (I ship BramblexSquirrel). She was very different than the stereotypical kittypet, and her personality was likable. I'm neutral on her, but I wouldn't have minded her becoming a warrior--I think she would have been a great addition to ThunderClan. I was sad to see her leave, but maybe she will make a return in the newest books.

I was sad to see her leave, but maybe she will make a return in the newest books. In Moonrise Leafpool and Sorreltail cross into riverclan twice to see Mothwing without permission. The first time they went Hawkfrost was aggresive about them chasing a squirrel but they were able to appease him. The second time was at night. Leafpool and Sorreltail were returning from talking to Mothwing in secret but Hawkfrost saw them trespassing and pursued them. Leafpool jumped under a bridge and Hawkfrost wrestled Sorreltail into the bushes untill he pinned her down. Mothwing showed up and accused him of being to rough on Sorreltail. Hawkfrost then went on a power hungry rant about how he wanted to more or less rule the clans. Mothwing told him that making an example of Sorreltail was not a way to go about that. He left and Mothwing apologized to Leafpool and Sorreltail. No one ever remembers this scene. :/ sometimes I feel like I imagined it but I know it exists because Leafpool talked about it a lot after it happened, how she couldn't have Sorreltail go with her to see Mothwing anymore and she couldn't go as much herself. And because someone quoted it once to talk about cat sex. And to be honest, it would have been better if this scene DIDN'T exist. It completely jumps the gun. Had this information gotten to Bramblestar tnp part 2 plot could have been averted. Why didn't Leafpool just tell him Hawkfrost was power hungry and that she had proof rather than intuition? Bramblestar didn't listen to Squirrelflight because he thought she and Leafpool only had intuition to back up their distrust of Hawkfrost. They had proof that he wasn't trustful. wth. |
