Lately, especially in the mornings, my depression has been...acting up, I guess? I remember on Monday it was really bad. I felt so overwhelmed I couldn't focus very well, I almost felt like I should've left. I also felt a little bit sick. As well as on Thursday when I had to ask to take a walk in the middle of class because I couldn't stop shaking. For some reason, when the teacher mentioned a piece of homework I hadn't done, I got triggered and flinched. (My triggers can get weird sometimes-it's either flinching/shaking, or that thinking about depression/having it mentioned makes a Good Day into a Bad Day).
Anyway, I don't want to go through that again honestly.

Could you just stay home for a day of self-care? We don't do it enough; heck, I never did even when I really needed to. I get that you're in school and can't miss things, but your own personal care is so important!

Could you just stay home for a day of self-care? We don't do it enough; heck, I never did even when I really needed to. I get that you're in school and can't miss things, but your own personal care is so important! I've got school off on Friday. I'll manage until then.

I'm sorry :c that sounds awful. I hope you feel better soon. In the meantime do you think you could listen to music you like or that might calm you down, or do something that might distract you from how you're feeling like watching funny youtube videos or reading or something?
