Oh no :c apparently the updates are causing a lot of problems for people :\ like when I had an update on my laptop recently, it sort of changed the way I log in and I couldn't get in to my laptop for a while till I figured it out ;-; it's still partially "messed up" but I can at least get in now. I hope you're able to fix your language program.

@thewolfsshadow - I've heard it's been bad for other people too. this really sucks, how can there be so many problems?? I don't even understand it. but thanks, my mom's trying to fix it as we speak ✶Jaysong✶- that's the thing though. I didn't want to update either. It FORCED me to without asking my permission a while back. yet another reason why I hate it

I don't like how it forces the updates on you. It wants me to update and I've postponed it as long as I can. It's going to forcibly update the next time I log on,

This is why I uninstalled any and all Windows 10 related things from my Windows 7 machine.

I believe there is an option to set it to where it can't update during a certain 12 hour period, so you can have it set to download & update at night as long as your computer is on.
go to settings, then go to updates & security, click on windows update. Underneath Update settings should be "Change Active Hours" and then set the 12 hour period, click okay or something like that, and it should work.

actually, just go into your wifi settings and set your connection as metered. it tricks the computer into thinking you're paying for your internet by the mb/gb, which makes it so that it doesn't even so much as download the updates without your permission
i actually don't really ever have problems with windows 10 to be quite honest. i like how it looks and most of its functionality and i have yet to come across any serious problem.
