no, she just gets offended by the wraps islamic ppl wear
she just thinks that islamic immigrants should stop wearing their wraps because it is equilivant to irish immigrants forcing people to eat irish soup every day, aka "shoving their religion down everyone's throats"
even though christians go door-to-door offering bibles or trying to recruit members or something
btw, im not wanting to start anything. i just wanted to share this with everyone

...I don't really think she gets the point with what forcing religion on people is.
In my local area there's a lot of women who wear headscarves and as far as I know there's been little to no discrimination against them, which is good.

Lets try not to insult a person's political choices, it's their opinion and they're entitled to them. You can talk about how you disagree with trump/hilary, and you can post your opinions of trump/hilary, you can even go on about how they'll make an awful president, but there's no need to insult others b/c they're voting for someone you don't like.

the various headwraps are a part of their religion that they are choosing to wear (in the united states / non jihadist/misogynist controlled countries at least) and saying they should stop despite the fact that it isn't harming anyone is suppression of religion and direct violation of religious freedom (emphasis on not hurting other people, much different than the sort of "religious freedom" some groups claim as an excuse for homophobia and misogyny)

Wow. A lot of my friends wear headscarves and they're the sweetest people I've ever met and would never try to force Islam on anyone.
honestly tho... they're just wearing something that has a religious meaning? they're in no way harming anyone by doing this. it's not like the headscarves have "BECOME A MUSLIM NOW OR ELSE!!!111!!!" written on them.
also. what about people who wear necklaces with crosses? they're wearing something that has a religious meaning. but it doesn't mean they're shoving their religion down everyone's throats
no one should have to hide their religion because it "offends" another person for a really invalid reason

How is wearing a headscarf "shoving religion down people's throats"? Do cross necklaces and Christmas trees (yes I know it's based off a Pagan holiday) shove religion down anyone's throat?
If anything, she should be concerned about the women who are FORCED to wear headscarves in some countries and/or by their families.
