Bumblepaw nodded, crouching down and moving in the direction indicated by Cloudpaw. He didn't want to mess up in front of her, but he knew he would overall.
"What was your plan for getting it down?" Nightheart asked, wondering what it was.

"You think that rogues like us could challenge those jerkwad idiots? Trust me, we tried that already." Mara sighed back to Twist, implying that she wasn't intimidated by anything that he had just said. "And to be honest, even if we could take down one clan, theres always more that will come to back them up."
A flicker of movement to the left of Bumblepaw caused him to turn his head. He motioned with his tail that Cloudpaw should be silent, before moving on to attempt a catch. When he got closer, he saw that there was a mouse in the bushes, and pounced in an attempt to catch it. It wasn't a clean kill, but he got it.
"That method has been proved to work. Any other method we used in the mountains wouldn't really work down here because there isn't high rocks or anything to jump on them from." Nightheart commented.

Mara turned to look Twist in the eye, not even flinching at his hostile behavior. "You tell me your name and I'll tell you mine."
"We should take it back, so we don't forget. But... we could go for a walk after that." Bumblepaw said, flicking his tail in thought. He flushed under his fur and quickly added "O-only if you want to of course."
"That is true, but then they have to be close enough to the tree's to do that." Nightheart commented.

Bumblepaw calmed himself down as he walked into camp, but anyone who had good eyes for it would have noticed that he was still incredibly excited about something.
"Bye!" Nigheheart called, flicking his tail at the exiting apprentice.

"Perhaps because I'm twice your size, strength, and experience? The measly clan cats have never put a scratch in me, so how should you?" He scoffed, staring at her with a glimmer of battle hunger in his eyes.
"No fair!" She exclaimed and jumped forward, lagging behind him. She glanced around, trying to find a tree or something to climb to get ahead. "Ow!" She mewed, tripping over an obvious, large branch. She scrambled to her paws, burning with humiliation.

Hearing Cloudpaw's cry of pain, Bumblepaw pulled the obvious move. He purposely tripped over the nearest root and took enough time getting back on his paws for Cloudpaw to have passed him.
