so i was talking to my friend about music and he linked me to a really awesome playlist but was like "nah you probably won't like any of the music on there" i take a look and it's all stuff like all time low, panic at the disco, and fall out boy which i love, so i told him that and he looks at me and blinks, says "wow! a blonde with blue eyes and a white shirt who listens to emo bands, that's new" ? im not sure which part of that to tackle but you get what im saying
so what are some stereotypes you've fallen victim to or you think youre an example of idk some might be true

I'm also a blonde with blue eyes. For whatever reason, people who don't know me seem to assume that I'm dumb, ditzy, giggly and clingy. I've never really understood this stereotype, since hair pigmentation doesn't determine intelligence or personality.

I don't catch anyone stereotyping me based on appearance. I do stereotype people in this way:
If you are in my school --> Dumb

Literally same. 5'3 super innocent looking blonde with blue-green eyes. In class we had to choose a song to do a presentation on and I chose Bully by Three Days Grace. Everyone was like brutally shocked when the teacher played it after my oral presentation on its meaning and all the parts of English we had to find in it. ):

Everyone thinks because I'm this young-looking adorable thing I have literally done nothing bad with my life.
Lets just say..I am in no way of the sense a role-model.

i have glasses so for some reason people think im super smart and willing to help every failing student i see. i usually end up with a table of people constantly asking me for the answer to whatever work we have. my response is usually "nahhhh..." and i turn around. this might seem rude but there is a difference between a person who cant do their work, and a person who doesn't want to.

When people find out I'm half Russian they jokingly ask stuff like if I'm an alcoholic or w/e I don't mind it tho. It's more fun to play along than get offended.
Other than that I don't really fall into any other stereotypes lolol

I'm a dirty blonde, but I've fallen victim to blonde stereotypes as well.
And when my classmates found out that I was an atheist that listened to metal and alternative rock, instead of the "good Christian country living girl" they thought I was and that most of the people in this school are, they flipped out.

High pitched and sweet voice = sociable and nice person (hah...no.)
You're autistic, so you must be good at math! (Actually, it is reading comprehension I am gifted at.)
You're from the south, so you must be a Republican conservative! (Hell no.)
You're asexual? You just want attention/you just haven't met the 'right one' yet. (So much internal groaning.)
You're 'thin'? You must be healthy! You don't get to complain. (Oh yes. An iron deficiency and possible relapse of anemia is 'healthy'.)

If everyone followed stereotypes, I would be an alcohol-drinking, extremely camp, soul-less, tree-hugging, business-hating, tea-drinking, surprisingly intelligent idiot.
I'll let you make of that what you will.
