Hey guys! How is everyone?
I have finally been able to write again, sadly no, chapter 30 of Curse is not yet ready, BUT I have been working on a brand new story. This one is a companion book to Curse, and will be my first attempt at writing the Clans of the Valley world in human form. I have one completed chapter, and I would love to get some feedback from my readers. You can find the first chapter on Figment. My author name is Amanda Starks, and the story is called A Tale of Snow.
To those who haven''t met me or haven't read Curse, firstly greetings! Secondly, don't worry. A Tale of Snow can stand alone.
Here is the synopsis for those of you who are curious:
A young girl runs away from the comforts of her clan after learning a disturbing truth about her heritage. What follows is a storm of cold learning and brutal bloodshed as she is introduced into a world she thought she could belong in.
A few final notes: the clans and some of the terminology is going to be different. For example, GlacierClan is now the clan of the Maris family. Most people in this clan can trace their bloodlines to a woman named Stella Maris who was the "founder" of the clan.
Also, since winter storms in the valley are so horrible, the worst ones are called a "White Death" and have a special identifier.
And to those loyal Curse readers, or CotV readers in general, yes, you will see some CotV characters in their human forms in this book! Spottedmoon, Shadowface, Eaglefrost, and even Darkmoon will make an appearance sooner or later. These are not the only ones, but I'm sure these are some of the favorites.
I hope you guys enjoy this taste into the first real draft of the CotV world!! :'D
