Can anyone tell what’s the season at the end of TST?
—Clues— 1. Prolog & chapter 1 → Indicates it’s at the middle of leaf-bare as everyone’s at their ends. 2. Chapter 9 Raining. Clearly it’s not leaf-bare at forest territories as it’d be snowing like what we read in OS. 3. Chapter 12 → It took the tribe cats 1 moon to reach old forest territories. 4.Chapter 22 → Indicates it’s getting frosty.
What would these conclude? My brain says ERROR to me.

It could be that leaf-bare starts earlier and lasts longer up in the mountains where temperatures drop quicker. When they came down from the mountain leaf-bare was just about to start and by the end of the book it does. Meanwhile the mountains are still in the same leaf-bare.

When the cats reach the forest, it's summer if I remember correctly. And then by the end of the book it's starting fall. Then there is a couple month time gap, and Thunder Rising takes place in spring/summer
Like Cloudshadow said, winter in the mountains probably lasts longer. The start of the book probably takes place in April maybe even May, and then by the end of the book it's September or October. Maybe November.
