Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been on all weekend. Things have been pretty busy. Also, as a head's up. I'm not sure how much I'll be on this week. We're starting the demolishing of our deck this week and we'll have to rebuild it. So I probably won't be around much))

Kingpaw stayed silent for a while, merely sorting through the herbs as thoughts jumbled around in his head. "I just want the others to respect me... to listen and accept my help because even though I'm still an apprentice I know what I'm doing." He sighed and hunched over now, his head hanging. "I guess no one could take a blind cat seriously though huh?" "Well..." Swanpaw murmured, moving to nudge Kingpaw's side gently. "I'll always take you seriously. I've known you since we were little. I know how much you're capable of, even if you can't see. I just wish that you saw that too. You're going to be a great medicine cat." She promised, wishing he could see how serious she looked, hoping she sounded as serious as she looked. The tom gave a soft, heartfelt smile as he turned his head in the direction of Swanpaw's voice, his eyes, though sightless, now filled with nothing but raw emotion. "Thank you Swanpaw. I'm not sure I would've made it this far if you weren't by my side."

That means alot to me.” She admitted lightly.

Diamondheart worked on the nursery, offering mews of encouragement to each kit that passed by his paws. He thought of possible hunting patrols and border patrols to send out for the evening, though inwardly he was greatly worried for Ottermask. The loss of their clanmates surely weighed heavily on him. He sighed softly, turning as he caught notice of his daughters helping around camp.
“Would you stop being so pushy? I’m trying to weave them in!” Fluffpaw glowered as Bubblepaw pushed past her to correct her weaving. The two sisters shared argumentative looks, though Bubblepaw’s was more teasing.
“Fluffpaw, you’ll never get it right if you keep forcing it in there. Starclan, be a bit more gentle!”
Fluffpaw tossed her eyes, tired from working and tired from her sisters’ boundless energies. Applepaw, Sweetpaw and Bubblepaw were always just so...so soft! Her rougher nature set her apart from her sisters, and she bore it in stride.

Applepaw frowned a bit looking over, "Bubblepaw dont be so rude," she shook her head her ears twitching she wasnt always a soft one but she did like to make sure the sisters kept peace with one another. Though most of the time she instagates alot of the arguments.
Sweetpaw was humming softly to herself as she carried moss over to the sisters though her smile faded as she listened to them. She hated it when her sisters fought.
Venomspirit was busy helping make sure the queens had been given food to eat. Her gaze traveling over towards her mate with a soft expression on her face.

“I’m just trying to help!” Bubblepaw pouted, giving Applepaw a short frown. She quickly sighed and righted herself, before lifting her chin and mewing. “With all the apprentices in camp, we’ll be done in no time. Besides, father was adamant that we finish the job.”
Fluffpaw didn’t speak, huffing to herself. Hah, as if the deputy had enough time to focus on what they were doing...no, that was unfair. She shook her head. If she herself was to become as respected as a deputy or leader one day, she had to be able to push away any kittish feelings. She muttered to Applepaw. “It’s fine...”
Diamondheart caught Venomspirit’s eyes, a look of deep affection and assurance filling his own eyes as he looked at her. Always so stunning, no matter what she was doing. He beckoned her to join him, hoping to get her report on if the Queens needed anything.

Applepaw rolled her eyes, "Doesnt matter. I think you should apologize," she huffed pausing what she was doing to fully look at her sisters.
Sweetpaw set down the moss her ears pinned backwards but she didnt speak not wanting too. She really hated it when they fought.
Venomspirit looked at him lovingly moving over to his side. Her head pressing against his rubbing her muzzle against his purring softly, "Everything going alright over here?" she asked him happily. Her eyes glowed brightly full of love and adoration for her mate.

“Apologize? I didn’t do anything-...” Bubblepaw blanched, only to blink a few times and sigh heavily. She supposed it wasn’t worth quarreling over, and she knew that she could be bossy sometimes. She glanced at Fluffpaw and mewed. “I’m sorry, I’ll let you weave it in the way you see best.”
“I said, it’s fine. It’s not a big deal.” Fluffpaw grumbled, shooting both her sisters an impatient look before she turned back to her materials. “Apology accepted, whatever, can we just get back to work? I want to train sometime soon, but I can’t do that when we’re sitting around camp.”
“Everything over here is good.” Diamondheart mewed. “So far the Queens and Kits seem fine. The elders are settling in, as are the Medicine cats. Are there any issues you’ve seen around? I want to account for as much as I can.” He nosed Venomspirit’s ears gently.

Applepaw let out a soft breath shaking her head before getting back to work, "There is more to life then just training Fluffpaw....we will get to it when we do. Besides there is alot still to do in camp," she meowed her gaze focusing back on the task in front of her. Paws working to continuing her own section as she weaved hers together.
Sweetpaw looked down at her paws trying to wait till they had stopped talking before speaking finally, her voice rather soft, "I...I uh...brought some moss over if anyone needs it," she tried hard to not stutter she hated interrupting them. She always felt like she was the odd one out, too soft...too quiet...and always in there shadows.
"No issues to report. Just as you said everyone is settling back in as nicely as they can. Its going to be a long road of recovery with those we have lost....may Starclan light there paths," Venomspirit meowed softly looking at the sky then back to him purring softly at his show of affection. She rather enjoyed spending any amount of time with him, "Hopefully things slowly get back to normal," she spoke softly.

Fluffpaw grumbled quietly to herself at Applepaw’s words. What did she know anyway? Fluffpaw loved training, it felt good to get stronger and to learn from Littleshadow. Even so, she wasn’t in the mood fo argue with her, instead returning to her own section.
“Oh, thank you, Sweetpaw! Just what I needed to start these nests!” Bubblepaw purred with approval to her sister, moving to pull the moss towards herself. “C’mon, Sweetpaw! Show some oomph! You’re real quiet today...is something wrong?” She asked, suddenly worried.
“Riverclan has prevailed, and we will keep doing so.” Diamondheart nodded firmly, offering a spot next to him for her to help him. He admitted suddenly. “I spoke with our daughters earlier. I think they’ve been quarreling a bit more than usual. I’m hoping that it’s just stress making them snap, but...I suppose I just worry for them, huh?” He sighed, voice rich with care for their daughters.

(I'm just gonna post starters. I don't exactly remember where my characters were.)
Ottermask slipped back into the camp with a fish in his jaws. His paws dragged a little lower with every step, but he kept his gaze on his destination: the fresh-kill pile. Since the fire, the fresh-kill pile needed restocking, but thankfully the rivers were always carrying fish. Ottermask had been out for a while, crouched at the bank of the river and trying to hunt. However, his own exhaustion had gotten the better of him a couple times and he ended up losing a lot of the fish he went after. When he finally caught one. He determined it was good enough. Perhaps this fish would go to Smogstorm and their kits so he wouldn't have to worry about them going hungry tonight.
Frostlake was outside the nursery, watching over her kits as they played in the water. She kept a close look around the camp, though, knowing how tirelessly her half-brother worked sometimes. She wanted to help around the camp too, and she thought about assisting with the nursery, but Lakekit and Glacierkit were getting older and they needed to work on their swimming skills before they became apprentices. Kits in the water always needed to be supervised.
Eelshock had a mouth full of reeds he was carrying over to the warrior's den. He lightly flicked his ear, rather bored with the task, but there was nothing better to do. When he paused by the warrior's den, he spotted a feather still woven into the brambles that somehow survived the fire. It was a blood-stained feather. His mother had put it here. A prick of sadness poked at his heart when he thought about her, but he let the breeze the sadness away. The blood on the feather reminded him of better times.
Maskkit was crouched near the entrance of the nursery, watching Diamondheart weave the brambles into it with widened eyes.

Deadpath limped over to Shellstream with a fish in his jaws. He flicked his ear rather awkwardly and had a hard time looking her in the eye. Unable to say anything, he nodded down to the fish as if asking if she wanted to share.

Maskkit was crouched near the entrance of the nursery, watching Diamondheart weave the brambles into it with widened eyes. “Hello, little one.” Diamondheart finally caught sight of Maskkit, looking warmly at Ottermask’s son. With how close he was to the other tom, he practically saw the young kit as kin as well. He leaned down, chuckling. “Would you like to see how to fix up a den? I can show you how to use your paws to weave reeds.” The deputy offered. Smogstorm watched Maskkit with a small smile, she herself curled around Mintkit, who was fast asleep. She peered out of the den though, worried for Ottermask. Was he still out of camp right now?

"Father says you're the deputy!" Maskkit replied quickly. "He says its an honor and that cats have to listen to you, but he says you and he are the same age. Are you deputy because you're bigger?"
Ottermask paused at the fresh-kill pile, tired mind contemplating on whether or not to leave his prey or take it to Smogstorm. There were a few pieces left, so likely the queens had eaten, but he wanted to make sure. Ottermask started for the nursery.

“Oh, did he now? Well, he is right about me being deputy, but there is far more to it than cats listening to me.” Diamondheart chuckled warmly, moving to continue his weaving as he talked to the kit. “My job is also to make sure that the clan is working and patrolling properly. I also am responsible for making sure that Earthstar is defended, and that I make time to listen to him when he wants opinions on his decisions. Think of me as...as a big brother, to the clan. Or a friend who is always willing to listen.” He chuckled again at Maskkit’s last words.
“Oh, I don’t think Earthstar chose me because I have a thick pelt. Any loyal Warrior could be chosen, if their leader believes they can fit the spot. I know and care deeply for your father, and he would be just as good a deputy.” He explained.
Smogstorm’s ears perked as soon as she spotted Ottermask padding towards the nursery. The calm she-cat offered a supportive look, pulling slowly to an awkward sitting position, not wanting to jostle Mintkit too much.

"Yeah he would!" Maskkit bounced at Diamondheart's last words. "My father's the greatest! Fire can't even hurt him! He said all that stuff about being deputy. That patrols are important and Earthstar relies on you for advice, but he also said that you become leader if anything happens to Earthstar. Do you want to become leader? Would you not defend Earthstar to get that?"
Ottermask smiled softly when he spotted his mate in the entrance of the nursery. Amusement shimmered in his eyes when he realized Maskkit was probably asking Diamondheart a bunch of questions.

"No...no nothing is wrong," Sweetpaw shook her head not wanting to speak up about why she was so quiet. They didnt need to know besides she didnt want to make waves or cause issues if her sisters were already fighting. Her tail swished a bit before looking down at the moss she had collected.
Applepaw frowned hearing Bubblepaw but she didnt stop in fixing what she had been doing. Right now wasnt the best time to be arguing either.
Venomspirit frowned slightly, there daughters had been arguing? Well arguments happened and between siblings it was normal. Though her heart ached thinking about her own family. She looked around camp her eyes falling on her brother Deadpath he was the only one she could still talk too. With Jaguar exiled for her dark forest following she couldnt be trusted. And even with being devoted to the clan others still always looked down on her for being Adderstar and Robinstar's daughter; that was something she never would escape from. It was always in the back of her mind if her parents would reach out to their grandkits. Maybe....maybe they should have a talk with them? Prepare them and keep them on alert. No she didnt want to scare them, that wasnt right. But....would it be for the best? Letting out a low breath, "Do...do you think we should talk to them? I know all littermates fight sometimes or egg each other on but....Im a bit worried....," she stopped herself from continuing not saying why. She hoped Diamondheart would understand or at least get the hint. Though she didnt speak further seeing Maskkit her eyes softening remembering when her little ones were that big.
