"Okay," Tawnypaw agreed. "That makes sense! It isn't hunting, but we'll make life easier for the warriors when they get back. Trudging through snow whilst injured to reach your own den can't be too fun at all!" Willowpaw sighed, standing up. "Okay, I guess. But only because Tawnypaw's so excited." “Your sacrafice is honorable.” Iciclepaw snorted to Willowpaw, though it seemed he was actually rather alright with being around her. He preferred her over the other apprentices anyway, she was more like him.

"She was my only friend for moons, I can't just leave her to the horrors of chores," Willowpaw mewed, trying to joke. "I'll probably just end up sitting and watching, though. We weren't told to do anything, so probably best not to." “Not a bad idea.” Iciclepaw admitted with a hum. “I’ll probably join you, at least until we’re actually patching the dens.” The serious tom offered.

(brb, gotta load up the van with all my stuff since I'm moving to a new apartment tomorrow.)
Featherpaw nodded eagerly at the suggestion, eager to doing something active to alieve some of his energy. "Great! How should we start?" he asked, glancing around at the snow-covered camp. It wouldn't be easy to move all the snow with just a few apprentices, but Featherpaw had never liked taking the easy way anyway. “Well, let’s start by getting the snow off the nursery.” Swanpaw decided, her eyes bright as she scampered towards the nursery. She gave a giggle as she saw Puddlekit bouncing playfully in the snow.

"I might need a little help when patching the dens," Willowpaw mewed, her tail sweeping from side to side behind her. "I haven't ever done that before, so I have no idea how it's done," She admitted, dipping her head slightly.
"Let's start by clearing paths from each bit of the camp to each other - so a line from the nursery, medicine den, warrior's den, prey pile, etc, all leading into the centre," Tawnypaw suggested. "Then, we can start clearing the rest of the camp from there. Even if we don't properly finish, it'll be easier to move from place to place."

My parents made us do this all the time.” “Starclan, you guys are so smart!” Swanpaw praised. This would be great! Earthstar and the clan would surely be grateful for a good path to walk in instead of trudging in snow. She was grateful for her thick coat as she purred. “Okay! Let’s dig the snow to the sides so we can make some paths.”

Let’s dig the snow to the sides so we can make some paths.” "Thank you!" Willowpaw purred. "That would really help. I used to live in the Twolegplace, and then Tawnypaw and I never slept in dens when we were loners, so my experience with dens is limited to being a Clan cat." "Let's go!" Tawnypaw mewed excitedly. She pushed forwards, digging out a small cavity in the piled-up snow. The pure white snowbanks were almost twice as tall as she was, as the she-cat was only slightly bigger than a kit. Tawnypaw immediately plunged face-first into the snowbank, before extracting herself, giggling.

“Yeah, no problem.” Iciclepaw nodded firmly, though his eyes seemed to flicker strangely. He wasn’t usually one to socialize or help others, but he found himself wanting to help Willowpaw to get more into clan life. “Come on.” He stood to trudge after his sister and the other apprentices.
Swanpaw gave a shout of laughter. “Tawnypaw you look like a mole!” She teased. She then proceeded to help her dig the snow, piling it up to the side as she began to clear a path in front of the nursery. She then moved to help Featherpaw, heaving onto her hind paws to pull snow off the den roof.

Koipaw watched the other apprentices with interest. She had wanted to join in, but was busy somewhere else. I hope they don’t get into trouble, she thought, thinking of Salmonpaw as well.

"I hope that they don't get hurt," Willowpaw remarked, trotting alongside Iciclepaw. She'd always been just that bit more mature than Tawnypaw, and didn't doubt that it would always be that way. However, she did worry about her friends. A lot. Ah, the wonders of being the Mother Friend.
"I don't think that tunnelling would work," Tawnypaw mewed, her voice tinted with upset. "It's fun to just mess around in the snow, though," She added, a tad more cheerful than with her previous statement. The she-cat looked around, rearing her head. "Let's dig to the prey pile next," She decided. "Then the elders, then the medicine den."

(Possibly some warriors then Fox? :3 We can have some warriors notice and try to help)
Iciclepaw nodded in faint agreement. “My sister is a mousebrain, but I do worry if she’ll hurt herself. Even so, they seem pretty fine.”
Swanpaw gave a whoop of laughter at Featherpaw and Tawnypaw’s actions, before she nodded and finished the start of the path in front of the nursery. She dug snow to the sides with energetic paws as she began working towards the medicine den, in case Speckecreek needed a quick path to the queens. “Come on then!”

I don't know what's going on) (The apprentices are just making paths in the snow for the clan to take from den to den while they wait for the patrols to get back)

Featherpaw grinned, his cold and wet paws forgotten and he quickly threw himself into the task of pushing the snow aside, spotting a few stalks of dead grass underneath the thick layer of snow. He made his way from the nursery toward the middle of camp, aiming to meet up with the other apprentices as he did. By the time he was halfway to the center, he was already panting. "This is harder than I thought," he admitted, pausing to sit down for a short rest. Swanpaw lifted her head from a pile of snow she was making as she cleared the path. She looked at Featherpaw, panting with effort but still brimming with energy. “Hey! You getting tired, Featherpaw?”

Featherpaw jumped as Swanpaw called to him, quickly getting back to his feet. "N-No! I'm fine, just... taking a little break," he called back, quickly delving back into his work. It wouldn't do for him to give up before his denmates! “It’s totally okay if you are.” Swanpaw sang with a twinge of smugness. Like her mother, she was a stickler for competition and loved winning. But, she didn’t want to make Featherpaw too upset either. “It’s hard work!”

“I admit, their ambition is admirable.” Iciclepaw deadpanned as he watched, instead moving to calmly and carefully push snow off the den roofs.
Swanpaw gave a quick nod and snickered. “Then we can break the tunnels down and walk on the paths. I hope this counts as my exercise for the day!” She purred. She then looked at Tawnypaw and grinned. “You’re really dedicated! I bet when Owlwhisker comes back, he’ll be real proud!”

“Hey. Quit sitting and start watching.” Iciclepaw quipped to Willowpaw, ushing with his tail for her to join him in mending to the holes in the dens.
Swanpaw gave an assuring look. “Your mentor’s gotta be the most lively and optimistic tom I know. He’d be proud if you caught a cold let alone prey or a swing in battle.” She teased.
