In the hopes of getting more people, I guess we'll start :3]
Blazestep lounged in the sunlight. The cave in which they made their home was rather dark and depressing, even if they did their best to make it cozy. His red coat glimmered in the sunlight, catching the attention of some birds who circled overhead. He doubted they'd met a cat like him before. He would have been curious as well. He watched the entrance to see if any cats came out. Perhaps he could join a patrol.

A small black she cat padded towards the entrance, almost blending into her surroundings until she stepped out into the light. Blues, reds and greens exploded into color on her pelt, constantly moving and shimmering in the light. Bright green eyes blinked to get use to the light and glanced around. Spotting get a red shimmer in the corner of her eye, Opalshine padded towards it with a smile "Hello Blazestep how are you?" She asked, coming to a stop next to the tom.

Blazestep lifted his head lazily at the newcomer. "Hello. How have you been?" His whiskers twitched. He didn't doubt he'd have to get up now. But, he figured it was more productive than lazing around in the sun.

Opalshine shrugged slightly but smiled none the less "I've been okay. I'm tired of my brother right now though. He's being such a mousebrain though. Did you want to go on a hunt with me?" She asked, her tail tip twitching in anticipation. She was itching to get out of the cave for a while and figuring that a hunt would do her and the clan some good.

Moonfeather was off to one corner. She watched both Opalshine and Blazestep from a few tail lengths away. She wanted to join but wasn't sure how to go up and ask. Her body was trembling at the thought of talking to other cats

Tornshade was laying in the shade, enjoying his time out of the cave. He loved it in there but he also enjoyed his time outside. He was observing the clan mates around him with a small smile.

In truth, Blazestep did not want to go anywhere. Lying in the sun for too long had made him sleepy. But he knew better than to say no. Maybe they coukd go fishing and he coukd lounge around more. "Sure." He got up and shook off his pelt. "Where to?"

Opalshine glanced at Moonfeather and gave her a brilliant smile, waiving her tail in hello. "Great! Thank you Blazestep! Where did you want to hunt?" She asked, purring in excitement. She kneaded the floor in excitement and glanced at him.

Blzestep's whiskers twitched. Since she had asked him, he expected her to have a place in mind already, but all well. "How about we head to the Lazy River and fish? Maybe we'll catch some prey along the way." He started off.

"Sure! Are you ready to head off now?" Opalshine chirped, happy to get away from Tornshade for the moment. She didn't mind fishing but she was going to stink for a while. She gave Blazestep a small smile, hoping that she wasn't going to cause more trouble for him.

Blazestep shrugged. "As I'll ever be." He started through the forest. Not wanting to walk the whole way in silence, he asked the first question that came to mind. "So why are you mad at Tornshade?"

Opalshine padded after the tom, sighing slightly. "He's being such a mousebrain at the moment. He was going on and on about how we should be harsher on trespassers. That we were above them... Dear StarClan! I'm getting annoyed just thinking about it!" She huffed, her ears lowering in annoyance. She sighed, shaking her head slightly. "I'm sorry for ranting Blazestep" She said, glancing away with slight shame. Who gave her the right to rant on and on?

How is he all about fights when there's no one to fight?" She grumbled, her irritation fading slightly as she was surrounded by the natural noise of their territory.

When Heatherwind had woken up and not seen Blazestep, she was certain he'd gone out of camp to lounge around in the sun. She rose and yawned. Her fur tended to heat up quickly with its darker coloring, and so she avoided it as best she could. Instead, she grabbed some breakfast from the fresh-kill pile and began munching away, watching her clanmates for any signs of awakening.

Opalshine's ears pricked at the sound of water and bounded forward, smiling slightly. She was finally relaxing after her spat with Tornshade. "You have no idea how grateful I am for that fact Blazestep" she said, smiling slightly as she padded forward to the waters edge.

Opalshine sat down at the waters edge a few fox lengths away from Blazestep, making sure to keep her shadow off of the water. Raising a paw over the simmering water, she kept it steady as she waited patiently for a fish to pass by.

Blazestep struggled a bit to stay awake until eventually a fish swam close enough. His paw flashed into the water to scoop it up. It flopped and wiggled on the shore before he gave it a swift kill.
