Aw, thank you so much. It had actually been quite a while since I rp'ed warriors, so I came up with some new designs. I had a ton of old ones. I believe these two are the first cats I have drawn in over a year lol.

Very well done! Torren and Sheba, and the lion cubs, are my favorites. I wish I had the motivation to draw my characters. lol

Thank You, I was very happy with how those turned out as well. I draw for fun, but a lot of the time I don't really know what I want to draw. Making characters tends to end my usual art blocks.

Do you have a DA?
Also, what do you use to color?

I do, Yes, My DA Username is The1andonlyRaven Generally speaking, I use a variety of different Brush/double end markers to color my work. I have: a 24 set labeled "Studio Series Dual-Tip Artist's Markers", A set 36 of Skin-tones by Finecolour, and 160 "Master Markers" that I use regularly. They are all off brand markers, but I feel they work really well, and I have been satisfied with them With these, I have to scan and reprint my lines on cardstock paper, as they would bleed through otherwise.

Interesting... I normally draw mine with pencil, then scan, and do the coloring and everything else digitally with Photoshop. I do hope to get some better art supplies eventually though, and get back into drawing. Are there any brands of markers that you prefer, or recommend the most?

I would do digital work if I could learn to use/buy a decent program for it. Lol so far I invested more money in my traditional mediums, like markers and things rather than buying a tablet and photoshop, mostly because I have only had my own laptop for the last year and a half. I used to use our family one, and so I didn't want to depend on it.
I honestly really recommend Master Markers. From what I can tell, they produce similar quality work to the big names in Brush Markers (Like Copic) but are a fraction of the price. I got the 160 set (all of them) but from what I know, that deal hasn't been made available for purchase yet again (I've had them for over a year and use them so frequently that my most used colors are just now drying out, so I wanted to order the set again, and it was out of stock. I check back every so often) But they do have smaller sets on Amazon available to order still.

Yeah, digital mediums can be expensive. My laptop and Photoshop were both given to me by my grandma, but my computer um... fried? back in February, and I haven't taken the time to learn to use my tablet for art. I still have my portable scanner, so I'll be limited to traditional art until I can get another laptop. That's mostly why I was asking. That, and your drawings are very clean and clear. I've never been able to get my traditional art to look that nice, which is why I've relied so heavily on Photoshop to edit all of it. I'm getting a new desk and chair soon, which will help in drawing, so I'll definitely look into Master Markers. Thanks!

My coloring used to be awful. Investing in some alcohol based brush markers definitely brought it to a new level. So I definitely give credit to the better materials for the smooth and clean quality. I actually did a comparison picture from one of my artistic coloring books just to see the difference purely in color smoothness and ink quality and it was astounding. Also, if you are going to invest in Master Markers (or a like brand) I would also buy some card-stock paper to draw on, as the markers do bleed through quite a bit and also feather on printer/thin sketch paper. I use carstock because it helps with the smoothness of the colors without the mess. This is especially true if blending colors. I had sent an email to the company about the Master Markers, just because they had been out of stock for so long that I feared they had been discontinued, and I got a response today that they expect a new shipment of the 160 set in a few weeks. So they are still making them

The right art supplies can make all the difference. I've never had much more than crayola, and some cheap, generic colored pencils from Hobby Lobby, which is why I've always relied so heavily on digital to make it look 'good'. I'll keep those things in mind. I'm pretty sure I've got some cardstock somewhere. I used it to make business cards once.
Oh? Awesome! Maybe by the time they get more in, I'll be able to order some. I've got a lot of drawings in mind that I'd like to make, so maybe by then I'll be able to test out the markers. Thanks!
