I used to LOVE the art forum, and I'd really like to get to know some of you again! 0: I'm thinking of setting up a central meeting/chat/etc place for any artists here in the AF community, especially since it's looking up again. We can advertise galleries, host art trades and other events, and etc. i'm thinking it'd be a great way to get your art out there and make any projects you may be working on more popular
if you're interested just say so. c: with enough support i'll start the coding sometime today and do the bulk of it tomorrow! regardless though, i'd love to meet some of the new people here as well as old friends if youre still around :V

anyway yay awesome !!
so my thoughts is
i can have "art of the week" where i chose like 5 or so random pictures that are drawn that week get posted to the front. a section for galleries, members + positions, monthly contests? trades too. even a critique page

if anyone has any ideas pls share ha ha

anyway @ prince - i totally agree?? looking at the art forum now makes me so excited bc it sorta takes me back to when this place was super popular. i hope it keeps going in that direction because honestly i love the community to death man :,)
@ everyone else - ahh yay!! im glad you think so. im going to start up a WIP. again any ideas are totally accepted. im going to have a few mods just in case, i'll decide those in a bit but if anyone's interested just say so or send a pm c:

sounds great!! and you don't have to be an "incredible" artist to join, anyone who has a love for art is completely welcome to be apart of the community! right now working on writing some stuff and coding- it's pretty simple for now but it's coming along! hopefully by tonight i can open it officially! |

wow ok it's time to take a break for a bit asdfghjkl i'll keep going when i get back
i've also been thinking of a lil mascot for our group. rn what i like most is a dalmatian (cute?? classy?? ikr) holding a paint brush or something, maybe wearing a beret or something equally as stereotypical asdfghjk
i'll probably host a poll for naming the lil guy, and the first contest we host will probably actually be fore designing a logo featuring the mascot that will be on the front page indefinitely !
i'm in a bit of a rush so sorry for lack of info but asfghj tonight i'll get more in depth about what's planned!
also if anyone is interested in moderating please message me! right now i only have one other beside myself (twistedgrifter). to be a mod please be active, older (i dont want anyone below 16 moderating), and generally p responsible. for mods that do join i'll probably set up a chat somewhere where we can talk about who handles what!
