(Alrighty. Just wanted to make sure to James didn't wander into the village like 'Grace!' and she's way back in the forest xD)
James had been taught from a young age how to track. Both animals and people on all sorts of terrain. Now he needed to track Grace. It wasn't too difficult as she seemed to have been stomping angerily. All the grass was squashed helplessly where she'd stepped. James thought to himself as he tracked her. How could one woman anger him so much? Why was she so irritating? James had never met a woman that was so stubborn, or one that challanged him either. It bothered him. James was sucked from his thoughts as he suddenly noticed, Grace's prints were being followed by another pair. The second pair was a ways back so the owner of the print must've been stalking her. James quickened his pace and in only a few minutes he came upon the scene of Grace and another bounty hunter. James wasn't sure whether to help or not. His help might even be needed, or wanted for that matter. So he drew his blade and crouched behind nearby brush, waiting.

( cx Good idea to check then. )
Grace was doing to keep her breathing steady as it was a better option then freaking out and loosing her head, she had learned this time after time from being stuck in bad situations; but they never quite happened like this. Straightening her posture as she suppressed a witty remark. Her hands curling into fists as she forced herself to act dumb. "Excuse me? What did you say sir?" She asked, but it wasn't in English but rather Irish. Letting out what almost sounded like a whimper of fear, it was the best she could do at the moment.
Unfortunately the bounty hunter was completely positive that he had the right girl, raising his free hand that happened to have brass knuckles on and punching her side at the bottom of her rib cage in disgust. "Don't try to play these games girl, I am no fool!" He growled as she suddenly moved from the impact of the blow, then slapping the side of her face after making sure his sword was far enough that the girl wouldn't up and decapitate yourself. Smiling to himself as he took some shackles and put them on her left wrist while keeping his sword up.

James watched for a moment, stiffening as the bounty hunter landed two blows on her. Then, as he moved to shackle her, James leapt forward. Deciding it was better to take care of the bounty hunter before asking questions, he raised his sword. Taking two quick steps behind the bounty hunter, James swung at the man's neck.

( You're fine! c: )
Grace had painfully recoiled after taking a blow to the ribs, then flinching when she was slapped and the brass left a mark across her cheekbone. Then came the shackles, just the feel of one on her wrist was both infuriating and terrifying. Quickly pulling her hands free and pushing the flat of the blade away from her body before her body dropped to the ground which pulled the bounty hunter down with her, before noticing that James had reappeared... With a blade. Watching in surprise as the blade narrowly missed the stunned bounty hunter before holding her hands up, "Stop!" The girl shouted, she had come to the conclusion that she needed this man to be able to figure out if she was being hunted. Awkwardly climbing to her feet a few steps from the bounty hunter who was clearly surprised by what just happened.

James pulled his sword back when Grace shouted to stop. Well it was better then her trying to stab him. He took a short step back, but kept his blade up. No matter how much he wanted to, he couln't relax until the bounty hunter was out of sight. He probably couldn't even relax then. James studied the bounty hunter, taking his his build and body. Then his gaze shifted to Grace. There was a large red mark on her cheek, might bruise. She would need to dress it, soon. Quickly abandoning thoughts of her bruises, he looked back at the bounty hunter, waiting.

The bounty hunter was about to leap to his feet to make a run for it when the heel of Grace's boot roughly collided with the side of his head. His sword being jerked out of his hand before the hilt suddenly bashed into the same spot of his head, thus knocking the man unconscious.
In a matter of moments Grace had done her desired damage before searching his body for the keys, after finding them she freed her left hand and put the shackles on the bounty hunter before stepping back with the sword and coolly gazing up at James.

James stood back and watched as Grace took care of the bouty hunter. He looked up at Grace and sheathed his sword, hoping she would take the gesture as a sign he didn't want to cause anymore trouble. He met her gaze calmly, "He's not the last" He said flatly. With the amount of bounty hunters around, he doubted she could continue to fend them off like she did the last one. That is is the archer from teh woods was even telling the truth. James glanced at the man on the ground, he would wake up. He needed to be put somewhere where he wouldn't bother anyone anymore.

Grace merely shrugged as she glanced down at the bounty hunter. "I know." She muttered darkly, casting a glare at James. "Why are you here?" She asked in annoyance, throwing the sword into the ground before folding her arms. Trying to ignore the pain from her ribs and cheek, this was more important.

James sighed, running his hand down his face and rubbing his cheek, his habit when he felt awkward or was having a hard time saying something. His anger from the cliff arguement had worn off, and he realized most of his actions were wrong. But the longer he looked at that glaring gaze the harder it was to admit to her that he was wrong. James rubbed the back of his neck, sighing again, "Uh well, I found that archer....from the cliff. He said he was one amoung many that was hired to assassinate the Red Reaper. Which is you." He took a deep breath, "So I guess.....I just wanted to, uh," He paused. "Well I wanted some answers, but I guess I really just wanted to, uh, I wanted to apologize for the stuff I said...back there" He gestured in the general direction of the cliffs with a nod of his head. Apologies were so difficult. Especially to a women.

Grace quietly listened to James with a guarded expression, huffing in annoyance while looking down at the bounty hunter. "So they told you that they are out to kill me? That's fancy, anything else I should know?" She asked bluntly, the girl was in no mood for apologies and forgiveness. Brushing her hands off on her dress before folding them again.

James forced his annoyance at her shove off of his apology. It was quite hard not to snap something at her. So very hard. Not onyl had he made himself vunerable by aplogizing, but he'd also taken most of the blame for the arguement. Which was a nick in his pride. And she shoved it off! James took a deep breath through his nose and focused on answering her question. "Not that I'm aware of. Archer got away so he'll be back for your head. As far as I'm concerned, you've got all the information about it that you can get at this point. What you really need is protection." He said seriously. "Obviously you can handle yourself with one, but eventually you'll run out of tricks and next time there might be two. Or three. Or more. No matter how much you might hate to admit it. You can't defeat them all yourself" He said flatly, looking at her with a quirked eyebrow as though waiting for an objection.

Grace raised an eyebrow at James. "You think I need protection? If it wasn't for you being so annoying I would have paid enough attention to have killed three of them if I wanted to!" She growled in annoyance. "You go around questioning my identity then question my abilities." Taking a long deep breath while unfolding her arms and curling her hands back into fist while dropping her gaze, she needed to be reasonable about this and use it to her advantage. The girl needed to find her way back to her lost fleet then return to her clan, which was impossible unless she was able to get some answers. Slowly letting out a rough breath before attempting to calmly look up at James again. "I apologize, but I can assure you I didn't intend to ever lie to you. But if you seem so sure of yourself I have a favor to ask of you... I need to get this man taken back to the village so I can question him without having to watch my back."

James almost snapped, his temper was practically soaring inside when she suddenly apologized. He was startled by her sudden change and his anger faltered, but it came back just as quickly. He apologized and she shoved it aside and now she expected him to accept her apology and help her on her way. Tough luck. He wasn't dim-headed. James folded his arms. "Oh so now we're nice. I apologized and you tossed is aside. But as soon as you'll benefit from something I can do you apologize and expect me to accept it like there was no problem and help you along?" He asked, this time his voice wasn't raised, but stayed in a flat obviously irriated tone. "I'm not a toy" He added, this time his voice taking a tone of offense, "And what happened to 'if you weren't so annoying I could've killed three of them on my own.' Sounds like you can handle yourself when ones unconcious. Wouldn't want me around to get in the way" He spat with obvious distaste. He had offered help and an apology and she shrugged it off, now all the sudden she needed help? Rubbish. She just wanted to use him. Either that or she was up to something that he couldn't figure out yet.

Grace bit her tongue to keep from saying anything, glancing down at the unconscious bounty hunter. Her temper was trying to resurface but she wouldn't let that happen, she could have just been killed because James distracted her. It was never safe to have pirates on each other's bad side because they were the type that killed without a second thought. But that wasn't terribly important was it? "Now I remember why I avoid foolish English lunatics." She muttered darkly under her breath, her gaze suddenly snapping upwards at him. "That's really quite cute of you, can't handle it when people don't do what you want can you?" She asked tauntingly. She needed to cut her losses, there were other bounty hunters out there anyway. Not moving her gaze from him while reaching into her cloak and pulling out a different danger that had none of the engravings as the one she used earlier, it was blank to say the least. Without a second thought she threw the dagger down right into the bounty hunter's chest before spinning around and marching off. Her hand slipping to her personal dagger in case James kept trying to follow her.

James grunted at her taunt, "I'd say that picture fits you much better" He muttered with a roll of his eyes. He shook his head at the woman as she walked away. He refused to do what his anger and curiousity urged him to do. Follow! Find out! She can't do it alone. they urged. James shook his head, No, if she wanted to get caught in a brawl with a dozen trained assassins then she can get her wn throat cut. No use in putting my own life on the line. He countered his thoughts. He then bent down, not even watching Grace leave, as though she didn't exsist. Obviously the woman had never learned to clean up after herself. James yanked the dagger from the bounty hunters chest and stabbed the blade into the ground. Roughly grabbing the shackles around the mans hands, he slowly began to drag the dead body toward the cliffs edge to dispose of it.

(Hmmmm, maybe the bounty hunters get Grace and since James got mixed up in it they take him as well to just get rid of him. And then they are forced to work together and kind of decide to be a team afterward and help each other out?)

( Yes please, I'll do the one who gets James. )
Grace had given up on exploring or finding a bounty hunter and had decided to just head back to the village to form a decent plan of attack. Trying to ignore the rain that made it's reappearance as if it was a reminder so she'd remember just how stuck she was in the area at least until something popped up which didn't help her current mood.
The lead bounty hunter had just ran the current situation by some of the others so they knew what was going on and where the Red Reaper should be. But after they parted ways his attention was shifted to the pirate he saw earlier, there was no way he'd allow the pirate to get away alive after that.

(Okey dokey ) A lean figure stood in the shadows, dark eyes trained on the female making her way towards the village. She'd seen what the women could do to others and she wasn't going to that the chance. The feminine figure's eyes flashed dangerously, in her hand she cluthed a small cloth. It wouldn't knock the Red Reaper out long. In fact wouldn't knock her out at all. It would make her dizzy and disorented for about 30 seconds. Enough time to tie, gag, and get moving. Pulling a can from her cloak the bounty hunter hobbled toward the women, pretending to be blind. She held out a hand and called out in a loud voice. "Pence! Pence!" She called in a well-practiced elderly voice. James tossed the body over the edge of the cliff and watched it fall with a splash. He sighed and shook his head. He bent down and began wiping his hands on the mist grass. Trying to remove the small wipes of crimson blood on his hands.

Grace's mind was running too fast for her to process her surroundings until she heard the elderly sounding voice and stopped, her gaze drifting around until she saw what she supposed to be a old women trying to get some money. Hesitantly she watched see if anyone else was around as she was reaching the outskirts of the village.
The bounty hunter had been following James' trail, oddly he didn't seem bothered by the fact that one of his coworkers was now dead; there were plenty of other people who could easily replace him. Hiding among the bushes as he waited for the pirate to move away from the cliff to a safer spot for abduction.

The female bounty hunter made her way wobbly toward the Red Reaper, stubbling and using her cane to appear blind. She neared the girl, though continued to pretend that she ddn't know anyone was there. Until the bounty hunter swung her cane forward, purposefully clipping the Red Reapers leg. She jumped to fake a startled appearance, "My apologies deary, did I hurt ya?" She asked in a elderly tone then after a few seconds mumbled, "if its those darn kids again....."
James sighed and wiped his wet hands on his pants. He turned back and squatted beside the dagger Grace had used for the bouty hunter. Not exactly fancy. Or really that pretty. He touched the handle lightly, exaiming to blade. It had a nice blade, a bit stiff. So it probably wasn't used for combat.

Grace silently eyed the elderly lady before taking a step back. "Oh no of course not! I should have been watching where I was walking." She quickly replied with a small yet awkward smile, debating weather or not she should give the women a coin or two; she had enough to spare.
The bounty hunter watched the pirate for a moment before quietly slipping around through the trees so he'd be able to get the pirate from behind rather then having to confront him, that would make it increasingly difficult to capture him.
( I'm sorry if this RP seems kind of boring x.o )
