( Okay I'm going to pause for a moment. How are we going to bring in Bounty Hunter #1? )

(Maybe in the middle of their conversation an arrow is fired at her from the trees. But right at that moment James could say something that offended her and she could step toward him and go to slap James. So the arrow misses since she moved. And then they both go to check it out, maybe start to suspect each other?)

( Okay that works, I shall continue. ) ( And James can be a nerd if you want cx it would be kind of funny along with the fact that most people think the Red Reaper is a man. )
Grace raised an eyebrow at the question, she figured someone would come to this conclusion eventually with the ways she acted and the things she said. But as someone who had in fact been in prison a few months prior to this for piracy, it was better to stay safe. Letting out a soft laugh she answered him, "My father had a fleet of ships who used for trading goods, I went with him many times so I suppose I know a thing or two about the seas."

(xD Its offical then, James is secrectly a pirate nerd xD)
James shook his head, "If your father was simply a trader, he wouldn't give you clothes in such condition as yours. Traders aren't the riches people in the world, or the smartest at times" He mumbled the last part to himself. He'd dealt with many a trader in his times on the sea, and knew they could be tricky folk if they wanted to be.
(What is the Red Reapers mark? Just so I know what James is going to see)

Grace rolled her eyes in annoyance, "Not all traders have a fleet of ships do they now? Most have a mere wagon and a pair of horses, or a single. Besides what would you know?" Grace stated bluntly. Folding her arms in disgust with a huff, she was being truthful; along with leaving out many key details but that wasn't important.
( A snarling wolf with two swords crossed behind it. )

James scoffed, "Well I happen to be a smart man, so I know alot. And I'm not aware of any trader who would eb stupid enough to leave his pretty like lady in a marine village on her own. Unless she isn't a traders daughter at all" He folded his arms, mirroring her position. "Mind telling me the truth now? Or are you going to keep lying?" He snapped a bit bothered that she lied in the first place. (Alrighty, thanks )

Grace could feel her temper rising, "In case you wanted to know I'm old enough to care for myself, I go and do what I want." She growled, when he snapped about her lying she dropped her hands and clenched her fists. Her face flushing with anger as she stepped forward and raised her hand to strike him. That's when the first arrow hissed by, barely missing Grace because she had moved. The sound was unmistakable to the girl, without so much as another word she darted off in the direction of the arrow. Zigzagging to avoid getting hit if another was fired. Once the arrow was right in front of her, she dropped to her knees and pulled out a gleaming silver dagger; sticking the blade into the ground at an angle and pressing downwards to get the arrowhead without damaging the shaft so she could look at it. In the heat of the moment she completely forgot about the fact that the hilt of her dagger and signet ring had the same image skillfully engraved into them, the mark of Clan O'Connell; that was better known at sea as the mark of the Red Reaper.

James flinched as Grace stepped forward to smack him. However the smack never came as an arrow whizzed past. James jumped as Grace took off and he watched her with obvious surprise as she moved to the arrow. His gaze caught on her dagger. No....it wasn't possible...not a woman. His eyes hardened and he stalked toward Grace. "You were lying! Or do you care to explain the Red Reapers mark on your dagger?!" He practically shouted. Normally James would've been over-joyed however he couldn't believe it was possibly a woman who terrorized the seas.

Grace stiffened as he began to shout at her, she had made a huge mistake carrying on of her personal weapons when she was supposed to be undercover. It took everything in her body to resist shouting at him in her native Irish tongue, biting her lip as she picked up the arrow and put her knife away before standing up. Glaring up at James as she faced him. "I actually I do care to explain, it's my family crest dimwit! Now get away from me." She growled in disgust as she was forced to maintain her English accent, it was probably best that she had put her knife away. So instead her grip on the arrow shaft tightened as she began to storm of in the direction that it came.

James brow furrowed, "Excuse me?! I'm a dimwit?! If I'm not mistaken your the one who jut tried to pawn off a lie to me" He stalked after her. "You are the Red Reaper and for all I know that arrow could've been intended for me!" His temper was getting the best of him as he stormed after the stubborn woman.

Grace took a deep breath before spinning around and jabbing her finger at James' chest, "Well guess what genius, I haven't lied to you at all just now. You could be the one lying here, I swear if whoever this mysterious archer is one of your men I will gut you. Now if you'd excuse me I've got an archer to catch-" Her fiery Irish accent making itself apparent as she was in the middle snapping at him, just when another arrow embedded itself in her cloak, right between her arm and upper body but it didn't actually hit her.

James laughed bitterly, "Oh, that's a laugh! One of my men!? They can't shoot anything standing two feet in front of them!" He would've continued on, however he jumped as the second arrow hit Grace's cloak. It almost hit his own arm, with his stubborn temper flaring he opened his mouth to say something else when another arrow snapped by his face, cutting into his cheek. It wasn't a large cut, but it stung. James's hand flew to his cheek and he seethed sputtering a few curse words before glaring at Grace. "Not one of your men?! I beg to differ! This was probably your plan all along. Make me curious and lure me out here, only to slaughter me and toss me off the cliff!" He was fuming now and despite the ridiculious logic to his story, his temper seemed to have the best of him at the moment.

Grace's temper went ablaze, fury burning in her gaze. She did stiffen for a moment when an arrow skimmed across James cheek, that but was just a moment. "If my crew was here why would I even be here? I could careless for a weak lowlife such as yerself! Besides if it were one I've my men they would have actually hit." She snarled, taking her her arms and slamming her palms into James' chest to try and push him over. Then she stormed a few paces away, no long going toward the invisible archer. Stopping and pulling the arrow out of her cloak only for her to hear the sound of yet another arrow, taking half a second to locate it before roughly catching it seconds before it could bury into her chest. Letting out a tight breath before continuing she storming off, but this time she was almost running while zigzagging to avoid almost getting hit again.

James stumbled back when she shoved him, grunting a bit as his foot caught on the ground. Despite his efforts to mantain his balance his flopped on his back-side. He growled in anger, glaring after Grace who was storming away. James shoved himself on his feet, still boiling with anger, he spun away. "Women!" He practically shouted to himself, but the movement of his mouth brought a fresh rain of sting to his cheek. James clutched his jaw and cheek, glaring toward the trees. He didn't need that women's confession. He just needed to find the blasted archer! His stubborn gaze set on a new goal, James stormed toward the tree line. The arrows had come a bit further north then he was going, but he had a plan.

Grace completely ignored James as she walked off, deciding that if he got it hit it was better him then herself. It would also take too much time trying to find the archer for her liking, if she was being targeted they'd likely try again. So waiting seemed like the most sensible option.
( tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they killed each other. Also is he going to find the Bounty Hunter? I'm not sure what to do at the moment. )

(xD they are both so incredibly stubborn and short tempered xD) (Hm, I figured he could find the bounty hunter and the bounty hunter tells him that he was hired by the Red Reaper's crew. So James goes to confront Grace with this and finds her being attacked by another bounty hunter?)

( It's kind of funny cx ) ( That works! But it wouldn't essentially be her crew, just the guy who took her ships in the midst of a short absence from the sea and the fleet. But it still works, so I'll do the bounty hunter? )

(Yea xD and it would benefit them more to just work together, but it'll take a little more persuation I guess xD) (xD Alrighty. Yea I wasn't really sure how to word that, but you got it xD. Sure! I'm not good at those kind of things anyways)
James stalked through the trees and after he was sure he'd made a wide berth around the arrow's location. He turned and then moved as quietly and as quickly as he could toward the location. James was getting close, he could feel it, althought it would've been wise to move a bit more quietly. However his anger was still blazing after the arguement with Grace. That, that woman! She's unbearable! I was right and she's just being stubborn. Why are all women so blasted bull headed! He grumbled mentally. He was pulled from his mental rant as he spotted something a few yards away. The archer? Possibly. James crouched and crept closer.

( If they don't try to kill each other first. ) ( RPing by oneself is rather difficult I agree. I'm gonna have Grace be doing things off screen so I can just focus on the bounty hunter cx )
Hiding in a grove of trees was the the bow carrying bounty hunter, earlier he and his companions had separated to see if they could locate the Red Reaper. They had been following her tail for months after the fleet was captured, and he had just blew his chance to get her because she kept moving and had been too far to get a good shot. He had began to move again deciding to try and follow her until he heard something moving and attempted to hide behind a large tree.

(XD Yea) (Okey dokey)
James spotted movement behind a large oak tree. With a short growl, he leapt toward the tree and drew his sword in a flash. "Come out of hiding or I'll cut your throat before you take a single step" James threatened, obviously irriated. He stood with a shoulder against one side of the tree and his blade sticking out in front of him. Meaning, if the person hadn't ran, they would see his blade, waiting patiently. And hopefully, his blade as by their head or face. It would make his threat all the more intimidating.......hopefully.

( Sorry for the absence yesterday, I have a really busy week. )
The bounty hunter let out a huff of annoyance when he heard something suddenly move closer to the tree, letting out what almost sounded like a growl at the threat before begin cut off as the blade made it's appearance near his head. Briefly considering his options before stepping out into the open away from the tree with the bow tightly held in his hand.

(That's alright, I have to. And all the roleplays I'm in are super active so whenever I get on I have to try an catch up with everything)
James studied the bounty hunter. The man was about his size, but looked like he could move alot faster then James. James only hoped that wasn't a correct observation. He steadied his blade, keeping it even with the mans chest. "What are you doing out here?" He growled, "Why are you trying to shoot me? Who hired you?" He spat the questions out quickly. Obviously having never interrogated anyone before, he wasn't exactly sure how to get answers. Of course he knew of one way, but wasn't sure how to go about it. Hopefully, the man was intimidated easily and would give the answers quickly.

( Okay ) The bounty hunter looked at James in complete disinterest, he knew that he could easily take his longbow and use it as a distraction while he pulled out a knife and either made a run for it or stick it through the pirate. But he had been watching this man's interaction with the Red Reaper, and maybe he could use this man. Taking the side of his hand and pushing on the flat of the blade to keep it away, this guy clearly has no idea what he is doing. "I'm not trying to shoot you, you were merely standing in the way thus endangering yourself; that was just begging the question: Why are you out here?" The bounty hunter asked smoothly, his dark eyes calmly looking up at the pirate. The bounty hunter had dark clothing on that kept his many weapons from view and a cowl on his jacket obscuring most of his pale face aside from the dark stubble growing on his face.

James scoffed, "I'm afraid I won't be answering any questions from you" He glared as the bounty hunter moved his blade. Rude. James shifted the blade back to the mans chest. He needed something clever, a lie, to throw the man off. Well he could only throw him off if he knew why the bounty hunter was there in the first place. Choosing to ask questions slowly this time he took a deep breath. "Then you were trying to shoot the lady, why?" He asked flatly.

The bounty hunter rolled his eyes at the reply and the blade moving back. A small smirk appearing at the question about shooting at the Red Reaper. "You call a beast like that a lady?" Letting out a gruff laugh before continuing. "I'm afraid I can't take question from the likes of you, pirate." He let out hardly above a amused growl.

James, obviously frustrated, took a dangerous step forward and pressed the blades tip into the mans neck. "Just answer the question. I'm not in the mood for your play. Answer or I'll run you through" He growled. Perhaps threatening death wasn't the right thing. But he wanted answers and his aggrivation was not mixing well with this mans frustrating taunts.

"You aren't very good at this are you?" The bounty hunter pointed out lighting, letting out an exaggerated sigh. He had to do something about this situation as getting chased by a pirate wasn't the best option. "Well if you insist... I am hunting the Red Reaper, their or rather her assassination has been ordered by many people to be honest. And seeing as all other have failed I have been given the task. But what's it to you? Unless my eyes deceive me I could have sworn you just wanted to kill her yourself. Happy now? Good." The bounty hunter explained in annoyance before suddenly running off deeper into the forest before the pirate could go after him.

James stood there, clearly startled by the given answer. He stood, blinking and processing. Not even bothering to go after the bounty hunter. So she was the Red Reaper. Well what was she doing out here by herself? Where was her crew? And how did she manage to get a price on her head? James's anger slipped away, once again replaced with his intense curiousity. James spun toward the tree line and headed back toward the village. Grace had a few questions to answer. If he could find her that is, without her cutting his head off.

Grace had been blindly marching off, the girl has been fuming and she would have loved nothing more then to run her knife through James. But that wasn't important, she needed information on what was going on with whoever was shooting at them to see if James was lying or if there was an archer in the area. There were other possibilities but she wasn't interested in looking into them. Deep in thought when someone stepped out behind her and held a short sword to her neck, giving her hardly enough time to register that it was there and not walk into it. Ice running through her blood as she heard the low voice of a stranger, "If I were you I wouldn't move, Red Reaper." He growled thickly.
