I was shocked when Scourge killed Tigerstar because it was so sudden. Also The Darkest Hour was the first book I read, so there was no build up for me. This was the first I had seen Tigerstar and now he's just suddenly dead

When I first read "The Sight" and found out Jaykit was blind. It was written in such a way that casually reading the book didn't show the fact until he spoke it outloud angrily to Leafpool.

Out of those that I remember is Ashfur threatening to Jayfeather&co and Tigerstar's death.
