"The focus just laid on the two kits that had died and the two new kits replacing them in a way, so Swankit was there too  " wow. so is this kit so deep in the background that she doesn't deserve a mention because we only need to focus on these obvious hints on who stone and misty's parents are? Is it that important? kinda because they could have used swankit as a decoy of some sorts. and since it was at night i would assume the kit would be near it mother where stone and misty are. it just makes it awkward to know that she was may have been present but wasn't even written in the actual text. |

I fairly sure it was mentioned in one of the books (possibly the prologue of BP?) that ALL of Graypool's kits died I checked the prologue of BP and it doesn't say anything about Graypool's kit - only that she raised Misty and Stone And in CP as far as I can tell it never really states that ALL her kits died - just the two of them. Which is actually something fortunate because in Forest of Secrets, when Oakheart brings Misty and Stone to RiverClan, there's a litte tabby kit with Graypool even though Splashkit and Morningkit have already died at this point. ("... a gray she-cat was suckling a single tabby kit. (...) Graypool, please ... Your other kits died, (...)" pg 2-3) So Swankit solves an inconsistency really |

On one hand, Snowbird and Boulder. Why?
On the other hand, Nightwing is Snowbird's kit, which is nice.
Now if we could just connect the family trees of Snowbird, Yellowfang, Blackstar, and Toadfoot to the main tree.
Also, I hope she doesn't mess with the new litter of WindClan kits born in The Forgotten Warrior. I want to believe that they're Swallowtail and Antpelt's kits, and that Featherpelt is one of them.

I just looked up the allegiances and Tallpoppy was a queen in that book. But I suppose I can buy that Snowbird was the mother to these two. Snowbird just suddenly showed up in POT, we never saw her as an apprentice. And Ratscar was in Tigerclaw's Fury. It's sad that Nightwing died though, but at least we now know what happened to her. And I remember poor Wildfur from FE. I wonder if he died at the forest or the lake.

Ratscar was in Tigerclaw's Fury and he was stated to be Snowbird's brother in The Last Hope. Also, Ratscar is now an elder, meaning Snowbird must be pretty old. Though she was still able to have kits. |

Just curious, since I was re-reading the original series and that scene popped up.
